  1. Hub Bearings. I did not even think about that. How hard are those to remove?
  2. Thanks, I see it now. I though I was loosing it there for a minute.
  3. I thought I considered myself techinically inclined, but now I wonder. If that is the case then what are the holes coming into the top/side of the blowers. Wouldn't that be the air coming in and then going into the heads? I also do not completely understand how the intercooler works I do not see any waterlines.
  4. Well I have a SD that makes the same noise and I have rebuilt both diffs. I also have a brand new Detroit Trutrac in the rear. I still get some noise around 15 mph. Only thing I have not replaced yet is the AWD transfer case. My truck almost has 100K on it with towing a 6000lb boat, and mild offroading to reach the family cabin in the summer. 30-40K has been suprcharged also. I would not worry about it to much, As I have not had on single reliability problem. It is just annoying, especially when you buy new and it is supposedly the GM flagship model. Now that it is paid off, it does not bug me as bad, but I would love not to hear it.
  5. What is that hole in the valley pan all about?
  6. I have seen issues were the calculated torque is way beyond the table and the trans will not shift until the torque returns to a value listed in the table that will allow it to shift. You may need to clear the memory on your PCM. I am not sure how to do that with a hand held. There may be some values that are throwing out some odd calcs on torque. On a cold day I can outrun my torque tables and my PCM cuts engine power for a brief second. I would warn though that if your trans is stock it will not live long behind a supercharged 6.0L.
  7. That is exactly what I used when I put my trans back in. Added some P clips on the frame and the truck has been fine for the last 30K With not a drop of trans fluid anywere. One thing to add I guess, is I used the teflon lined hose, because I was not sure how the regular stuff would hold up to ATF long term.
  8. You can get the Summit pushtite fittings and lines needed for about 60 dollars shipped. After reading this it seems like a good damn investment.
  9. Yea there is a guy on ebay. I'll see if I can dig up my receipt. He can setup all kinds of retrofits for your truck. I am running the SS cluster in my Denali. I looked at that cluster, but you can't get it with a trans temp gauge. Which i kinda want for towing my boat.
  10. Fireman31, I realize I am diggin up an old post, but my brother in law's wife called me and wants to do remote start on his truck for Christmas. You wouldn't happen to know what bypass kitt you are using would you. I already took your advice and grabbed a 561T
  11. Well if you decide to break it up let me know. I would love to have that intercooler set up for my 122. By the way that engine bay is killer. My poor old truck is a DD. I keep it clean but it is not a jewel like that. Can't wait to see what you do next.
  12. I had this problem. You need to hook the steering wheel adapter to the RAP power going to the deck. Otherwise the HU stays on and the steering wheel controls throw it a bunch of wacky signals, when the steering wheel adapter turns off with the ignition.
  13. I wouldn't group the BB and BBII mufflers into the same class as the smaller series flow masters. There is much more volume there then what is needed. I had the Magnaflow cat back and to me it was just to much after a year the muffler burned out and then it was boardering on absurd. I put a BBII70 in the mufflers place. That is a serious piece of metal compared to my magnaflow. I have not made it back to a dyno since then but I would say I picked up a little torque if not some hp, and I am running a SC with a 2.8 pulley. And now I can talk to my wife until I floor it.
  14. I did not get a PM, but I would be happy to take it off your hands. You got some pictures, so I can confirm it is the same on I got. I am drivin an SD, but I think they are the same.
  15. I don't know if you put it together already, but I would throw some new solenoids in there, if you got the means. Also I did not see any servo stuff. If you do the servo, you will need tuning.
  16. Hey are all the lights working cause I just had the defrost light go out on mine and could use another.
  17. Gonna need some paddles for the snow. Dude I love your flames BTW. I am thinking of p!ssing off Denali owners far and wide and doing the same thing.
  18. Speaking of Zippy. Hey Zippy are you available yet?
  19. Zippy, I have heard extremely good things aboout you and have read your posts. You think you could work with me?
  20. No I don't. It went with my core. I did not think about it but I guess I am going to need a tune I can access that is associated with my VIN huh? I guess I could ask for it back, if need be.
  21. Better yet I just had a guy powder coat my bumper and hitch and it matched pefectly (Onyx Black). His oven will fit a tail gate, and then it can take a little abuse.
  22. The trans has been good for almost a year. It is not entirely bad shifting. It is more of a timing issue that anything. As for what is in the tables, that is the whole point of the post. My current mail order company will not let me modify them, I cannot even download them from the truck. I am having more of an issues with backshifting around town and clunky 2-3 gear shifts on decel. It was not as much of an issue when it was warm but now that it is cold, the trans fluid has thickened up and she is a bit harsh. I know this needs to be corrected that is why I am asking for help. I already had to rebuild the rear differential cause I smoked the pinion bearing. 1400 dollars later it is better with a nice Tru Trac unit. But I still need to get the shift calibration right. I need a tune for my truck I can modify. Looks like I caught you in the middle of typing. I am Central Illinois, I have never been one to ask for a tune, but these days I don't have time to drive around and map VE tables and calibrate maf tables, etc. That was the whole reason I picked up the mail order tune. All was good until I smoked the trans with the radix. I did not realize everyone was so picky about sharing tunes these days that they were locking them. Hell if you are driving a Ford 4.6 or 5.8 liter form 2000 -2003 and your modifying the tune, you all owe me money for modifying the base tune. That also goes for Dodge Neons as much as I hate to admit it.
  23. Has anyone expressed interest in the transfer case? I may be interested but I live a little far away. 61523.
