Hate to bring a topic back up, I'm about to put one on, a Autometer Ultra Lite II Boost/Vac gauge that's mechanical, where did you hook it up at on the manifold?? I mean, where's the best place to tie it into for a good accurate reading??

I've heard 580 bhp, The ZL1 Camaro is Chevy's anwser to the Shelby GT500, however the 2013 Model GT500 is suppose to be pushing 650 bhp. SLP had the rights to the name ZL1 which was the RPO code for the old 69 Camaro ZL1's that were the first Chevy V-8 to have a all aluminum block.
Chevy then green lighted the ZL1 for the 5th Generation Camaro, so SLP now calls their's ZL Camaros.
Hennessy Performance has some up with HPE 475, 550, 600, 650, 700, 800, 1000 horsepower upgrades.
I think the most powerful factory built Camaro is right around the corner, and it's only goona get better.

Good lookin' Truck dude
-
I prefer 5 spokes, but those do look nice, it'd go good on a black truck
-
its like beating a dead horse lol. nice kill again man
Very True

Alright so if you've read my post before about my run in with this guy and a Roush Shitstang, you'd know what happened, well, the dude came back, blew a grand on this POS to get it tuned, new exhaust, K&N intake, Prestone Octane booster, whatever right?
Anyway, the only thing I did was get my billet servos installed, booster valve, and TransGO shift kit. Good Times.
So he drives up and says to me "REMATCH!" again I told him "Word, but do you really wanna lose AGAIN?"
So he has decided to do a rolling start, 25mph. I said "Ok" we start out, first one to past the 7-11 wins. We start off, oh yeah BTW, I put the truck in 4 high. Were have way down the road when I look in the rear view and see his car, when I look foward again, I past the 7-11.
Needless to say my beer was awesome, and he wanted to so to Lone Star Steak house.
-
Awesome man!!!!!!!! How was that beer?
It was awesome, Dos Equis is my fav, and it was great!! and Outback was killer that night too.

Ok, so anyone whos seen my truck, I'm going with a Joe Gibbs look on the Silvy, well here's how it went down...
I was over at my friends house working on his Z71, when one of his work buddies came over with his father-in-law. The guy stared at my truck and then said "Shouldn't you be driving a Tundra? Seeing as your a Gibbs fan in all??" I told him 'Well Gibbs never made Performance Tundras, even then I'm a Chevy fan sooo, no."
He then ranted about why Roush Racing was better than Gibbs and that Carl Edwards was cheated blah blah blah....
Finally I told him "Put your money where your mouth is dude, do you wanna race that POS or talk our ears off!" He said "FINE, your truck against my car!! Loser buys two cases of beer and dinnerfor everyone of the winners choice" of course I responded as intelligently as humanly possible...
"Word, dick"
We lined up on the service road a block away, mostly abandoned, some city trucks there and what not. My buddies wife has always wanted to flag a race and she got her chance, we took off, he pulled at first due to my wheel spin in first and second, soon as I caught the tail end on second gear, the truck shit and got, pinned me back like a mother, I passed him half way down the road and kept 2-3 cars on him.
When it was over he came back and said "How?? My cars got a supercharger on it... How did I lose??" I told him, "Well honestly had you not jumped on the gun hoe Ford bandwagon right off the bat, you may have seen what you were getting into!
He shook his head and drove to get the beer with his Son-in-law, who BTW is cool as shit, told him what I had under the hood and he was like WTF!?!
Needless to say a stang kill of anykind is nice to me, in retrospect... didn't know those cars were rated at 360 horse appearently... seems kinda low IMO...

What SS's didn't come with 4.3's?? lol
-
Hard to say which way would be the best for ya...
The best thing I feel is to tear one apart and refresh it. then drop it in your NNBS, I'd go with the build, the 408. That way you know what you got going on, any salvage motor may have problems and your just gotta inherit those problems.
Side note, don't know what motor you got in your Goat, but if its a 400 or 455 keep it, a original GTO is a lot more beautiful at a car show and driving than a butchered one. That's my opinion thou...

Never mind, lol I see what a X-Link is now that I read the website... I feel dumb:yellow_loser:
Thanks again guys, I think I know what I'm gonna do
-
Gotcha, I looked on Scoggin' Dickey's website and saw a Nick Williams "Drive-by-Wire" LSX Throttle body, would that work on our trucks, or is ours not a 6-pin wiring harness? My luck they aren't... lol
-
What is an X-Link? sorry, but I've never heard of one... like a cable?
-
Where's the best place to buy / brand of TB out there, like BBK? Holley? OEM?
-
My bud just bought a Tundra TRD Rock Warrior, and had the TRD TVS Supercharger put on it with exhaust and big brakes, that damn thing is fast son, after he drove my truck since I put the radix on it he wanted a fast truck too. lol
-
Looking for a upgrade to my ignition system and maybe a good throttle body suggestions?
I got some red taylors 10.4 mm wires that a friend gave me, I'v been running NGK TR6 plugs, looking for a good coil upgrade and the best throttle body to work well with my radix, 80mm? 92mm?
-
Pretty Sweet
-
Congrats man, I know you'll have fun with it!
-
That's with everything I'll need? Like I said just getting an idea hopefully by tax time ill have some extra money.
the kit comes complete, everything you need to install minus coolant, that's about all you need to buy.
-
Cool, next off do any of you're radix trucks rev kinda high when you start it up? like near 2000 rpms? it only does it for a second or two then comes right back down and it shifted a little funny today, from 1st to 2nd was fine, 2nd to 3rd took up to 3000 rpms, then 3rd to 4th was fine, would it be wise to put the superior billet servos in the trans and a HD transgo shift kit or just pony up for a FLT level 5 or 6?
I guess, what burns up in the trans under the radix's power??
-
Really, I live on the Pennisula side, and there are three in Poquoson, one is being used as a work truck for some pool service... it makes me tear up a bit... but yea there's at least six on this side
-
I think it was either HorsePower TV or Trucks that used a trans from Monster Transmission. They seemed to like it...but that doesn't say much considering they also like the E3 spark plugs.
Yeah the same people who on Trucks! stated that the first generation Lightning could wear out Syclones and Typhoons...

I've been seeing alot of SS's lately in southern Va, wondering how many are on this site??

nevermind, I hooked it up to a line on the back of the intake, theres a brass fitting and a tube with a rubber cap off on it, I ran it to the capped off tube.
