  1. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&_trksid=p4340.m748&item=150502534065&viewitem=&_trkparms=clkid%3D5132433290245347158 found these earlier. i've never seen them before. figured i'd post them up as another option for guys look for LT's. their the actual OBX brand and from some research actually have 1 3/4 primary and 3'' collectors unlike the kits with the y pipe. cheaper than the pacesetters and stainless. later gary
  2. how high do you half to be to think your best option is to bite a dog. wtf is wrong with people these days.
  3. 41-110 is the new number so same plugs. most will say those or the NGK's #7164. good luck gary
  4. what size turbo you going with?
  5. how dare they use our truck as a scamming tool!!!
  6. the new wheels look great. i think i've seen those on a s10 in my driveway
  7. looks really good. you got any pics of how you terminated it in the back?
  8. do you have any 12v wire run along with your rca's? if so that can produce your symptoms. i always run my rca's opposite from all other 12v wiring. but as far as the big 3 upgrade. its just as simple as removing the cables and cuting your new bigger wire the same length and finding which ends you'll need to make it work. pretty simple. usually takes longer to take the old cable off than to buiild the new ones. hope this helps. gary
  9. ya it's looking like i wont be making it either. i forgot about a b-day dinner i have that night. there's no way i can make it to both. dinner is at 7 and its a 2.5hr drive to KC. to much going on these days!!
  10. you could get ahold of zippy. he can hook you up with everything you need. if your tranny isnt slipping adding a shift kit and all related components will not casue it to wear out faster. from what i understand it actually helps longevity since it limits the slippage between shifts.
  11. ya i read that one already. just looking for a little more specific info as to the difference or reason for using the 7164. if this is the plug we should run why does everyone list the 7397 as the one we need?
  12. with some more searching i read they are different gaps. .060 vs. .040? is that the only thing?
  13. let me guess your on call mike? hows the truck planning going?
  14. Just as the title says whats the difference. the tr5ix #7397 is what comes up when you look up by application. but everyone says to run the tr55ix #7164. just wandering what the difference or improvements are when running these plugs. thanks gary
  15. so what your telling me is I'm basiclly never going to get to see your truck before i leave. hopefully i can make it back for the nationals next year. here we go.
  16. so brian your bringing the SS? you and shaun gonna line em up?
  17. haha. you mean how you drive in the cobalt?????
  18. ill try to get off early enough to make it. might not be until 6 or 7 when i get there.
  19. because i feel everyone has the right to make their own decisions. if someone whats to get to the speed limit in the shortest time possible so be it. just because i dont have a problem with it doesnt mean i have to do it. i can honestly say ive never even raced anyone in my truck other than at the track. my job requires me to get invovled in everyone else's business, so when offorded the opprertunity i let people do as they please just as i like to do.
  20. you guys crack me up. #1-never said i STREET RACE with my family in the car. #2- what difference does it make how fast you get up to the speed limit. #3- calling people morons without knowing them or jumping to conclusions and misinterpreting a statement is pretty funny. thanks for your concern guys. i simply stated what my daughter says when we're driving my truck. i drive 5mph over the speed limit going with the flow of traffic. i guess im acting wreck less and endangering the lives of everyone on the road. calm the fk down. im sure you've never done anything similar. we are all adults and have to answer for our actions. so to prevent further argument i ensure you i dont endanger the lives of anyone riding with me, i get my fun at my local track regularly. have a good night guys. gary
  21. so your telling me a spirited run to 50-60mph is putting my family in danger? good thing everyone is entitled to their own opinion. i'll continue entertain my daughter per your guidence. thanks
