  1. Club Orleans veteran here!!! I'm sure I've had really good times there, it's just a little fuzzy. haha Maybe make next years GTG if I'm not gone again. gary
  2. not sure how others do it. but i right click the picture and use edit. then stretch/skew the picture to 50% then save it. that usually brings it down to small enough size. im sure there is a better way. thats the only one i know of. hope this helps. gary
  3. nice gotta love military time!
  4. sorry to hear about the foot. im sure they will get you fixed up. i feel you on the multi deployments on number 4 myself. hope you dont have to come back anytime soon. rest up and take care of that foot. im sure nothing can replace that feeling of jumping out of a perfectly good aircraft!!! ive never got that opportunity. good luck. gary
  5. my last truck 2000 silvy had over 160k on it with no problems. more of a annoyance than problem. gary
  6. ouch. i feel ya. i got weak ankles and have sprained them so many times its not funny. had a couple really bad ones, had to use crutched aswell. G/L hope you heal fast. gary
  7. ??? did something not go as planned? stitches=bad day
  8. so then it depends on your budget now as to whats next. like others have said efans are good, UD pulleys, LT headers are all good to start with. if you drive it pretty hard you might want to think about those drivetrain upgrades sooner than later. it all adds up quick but they are needed to set the ground work for a quaility/reliable build. try going through some of the member builds and see what all they have done. alot of good info in here. just takes alot of research. every truck is different. how much do you plan of spending now?
  9. the best way to not waste money on breaking stuff over and over is beef up the rest of the drivetrain to handle that supercharger. thats how it starts "im just going to put a supercharger on it with 6-7lbs boost and have fun." then it keeps going more boost, forged bottom end, heads/cam, and it never ends. so starting with the transmission and rearend you save it from breaking and causing more damage. but many do not go that route since they are not go fast parts. it really depends on how serious you plan on getting with your truck in the future. you can always do all the standard boltons and have fun until you deside to go FI then gather all your big parts to handle it. gary
  10. just like he said 400 should be your final grit. be sure feather out the areas around your chips so it turns out nice and smooth. D/A will def. be the easiest and fastest. If there is any doubt just have a professional do it. a good paint job is all in the prep work! gary
  11. like they have already said. from here it starts with supporting mods for future use depending on goal. like transmission, rearend, forged internals. just depends what route your going, forced induction or nitrous or naturaly aspirated. as the saying goes theres a million ways to skin a cat. same with the mods. just do what you can when you can. gary
  12. the ones on the left remind me of a Boss wheel ive always liked to it gets my vote. gary
  13. if you still have this in august im very interested. im in iraq currently and should be home end of july first of august. plus your not far from me! if you could send me some pictures to [email protected] thanks gary
  14. nice! I'll take 3!!! I wish. gary
  15. i dont think you will notice any loss once its tuned for the headers. those are the same ones im planning on getting since i have future plans. let us know how it goes. G/L gary
  16. tractor tires is an understatement. those are 26's or 28's. im sorry i like big wheels and all but that looks retarded. anything with wheels that big that make it ride like crap are not worth it to me. gary
  17. when you lower it your setting the tire further in the wheelwell so it going to rub worse. either get new tires or wait to lower it until it needs new ones. good luck. gary
  18. i assume he is . because our boby style of trucks only had one style of stepside bed. try stylintrucks.com or autoanything.com for many different types and styles of nerf bars or running boards. hope this helps. gary
  19. maybe because I'm in the military I'm used to the Gov' being in my business. But i always were my seatbelt. It actually feels weird if i don't. Plus if i get in a wreck and im not wearing one my fam wont get my life insurance if i die and i would have to pay for the bill if i get hurt and they find out no seatbelt was used. I say 9 out of 10 times the seatbelt would help in a wreck. just my $.02 gary
