Nice tbss chris, i just found an 08 at lann chevy in woburn. Black. I might take a look at it......
Ya i saw that one it looks like its in good shape and there is another black 08 at liberty chevrolet in wakefield it has 47k miles and they are asking $25 also .. chris

I got $20 for the SSS and paid 17,500 for the TBSS its an 06 AWD 50k miles loaded with onstar, xm,nav, rear dvd ,moonroof, leather , adj. pedals which i think is every option ( original sticker is $41,xxx ). it runs and drives fantastic and is fast as hell and completly stock . the exterior is almost flawless i only found 1 tiny litlle scratch and 1 rim has a little curb rash . the interior is almost as clean i would give it a 9 out 10 . it was garage kept and only saw snow a couple times .....
i posted a couple of pix on my cardomain page just after i picked it up . click the link in my sig then on the left there is the link to my TBSS....

I just picked up an 06 TBSS and was thinking of getting some beater rims and snow tires for the winter and found some 16" 2002 trailblazer rims with Blizzacks for short money does anyone know if 16" rims will clear the brakes on the TBSS ? sorry for posting here but there doesn't seem to be many people on the TBSS site and i know there are a few TBSS owners on here ... thanks chris

SSS SOLD
I picked up a silver 06 TBSS 50k miles loaded up mint and never driven in winter ...
-
I have seen one on here before . thats not a bad a deal with the low miles ...

Agreed. It's going to take more than the light mods he listed. People way understimate the SS/SC 'Balts.
I don't know what to tell you guys he was into it all the way supercharger was screaming wide open and i pulled him. i dont post BS the only other time i raced was a moddded STI and stuck to his back door till 80 from a dig . you can believe what you want but i know i pulled him and i know he was in it all the way......chris

I'm not looking to go OEM since I think they look too big on trucks without the cladding. So...with that being said my only two options are:
Street Scenes - http://www.stylintru...70144front.aspx
Or Ebay - http://www.ebay.com/...#ht_5138wt_1293
Thanks,
Steve
I think there all roughly the same size as a stock SS bumper...

I am running 285/40/22 with spindles and there is no rubbing. i test fit some 305s and it was really close to rubbing i would suggest 285 to be safe but thats just my opinion ..

I'd take it! Its awful hard to sell anything these days and it is a pain in the a$ sometimes dealing with tire kickers!!!!
There are a lot of SSS out there and are not selling quickly . i have mine for sale and had 1 test drive several emails and most trying to low ball me....

Corsa sport is the way to go if you want loud with out drone . i have AR long tubes and Corsa touring which is quite at idle but scream when you get on it... there are some vids of my set-up on the right side of the main page.... chris

Look at my sig it has full list of my mods i am not stock...
As having owned an '06 SS/SC at the same time as having my SSS, I don't know what mods you have to the trucks, but a reasonably Stock SSS doesn't have a prayer against even the SC 'Balts, much less the Turbo cars. My '06 would hit 155 on the limiter in 4th, and creep in 5th. I'd have to call driver error for a SSS without a serious power adder to beat one.

So i was getting on the highway this morning and there is a red cobolt SS in the fast lane behind me he was just hanging back a little ways for a couple miles and moves over to the right lane like he is going to get off . soon as he gets beside me he floors it (supercharger whining like crazy) and shoots thru a gap and gets in front of the guy in front of me . well the guy in front of me moves over and games on i get rite up the guys ass(he is still in it) and the middle lane opens i move over and walk past him with no problem till we hit traffic again. i baby the truck and its for sale so i don't want to beat on it but i had to put him in his place after pulling the sneeky pass .

Good luck with the sale jesse . i just put mine up for sale to..

Will These Shackles Work
in Suspension & Brakes
Posted · Edited by 1stimeSSguy (see edit history)
They don't list 1500 except for the HD model so i would say no . if you are using 2" shackles i would get some 2" hangers
and move the existing shackles up 1 hole (you may have to grind the gusset a little for clearance) . i did this when i needed to go lower from the 2/2 drop i was running .. if you use just 3" shackles your drive shaft angles will be off and you will have vibrations and need to get some shims to correct this problem.. and if the roads in NJ are as bad as mass. you will want to add some helper bags because you will only have an 1" or 2" of travel and will be slamming of the bump stops over bumps.......chris
