  1. My Tahoe will need them at the next rear brake job. I was recently told that Napa makes a 2 piece replacement shield that makes replacement easier, might want to check into that.....

I just got mine replaced the other day and got them from napa i wish they told me they had 2 piece ones because i had to pay to have the axles removed/new seals and fluid to put the single piece ones on .banghead.gifbanghead.gifbanghead.gif

  2. :withstupid: I don't remember which member it was, but it was somewhat of a horror story........you'd be better off with a trans from a known 65E builder like FLT, Rossler, PerformaBuilt, or RPM......

iamwithstupid.gif i think he went threw 2 or 3 trans in a short time and monster said they would not replace it for him. then he made some you tube vids bashing them and they said they would take care of him if he pulled the video's bashing them

  3. Hello, I have seen several trucks on here with the factory taillights and 3rd brake light smoked black. Does anyone know where to get this done or who does this kind of work? What is invilved in doing them? Is it a coating added? Any info would be appreciated!

Danny (sprayed99) does them and i believe there is a write up in the how- to section ..

  4. I'm looking to put some 22" Escalade rims on my SSS, is the offset and bolt pattern the same? I searched around and found some pics on a sierra (Attached) but, will they fit our SSS? Will it hurt the AWD system?

I really don't wanna go bigger than 22"s and I like the factory look since I already have C6 vette wheels on my Camaro SS, Si rims on my integra GSR, and used to have supra rims on my corolla AE86, lol, maybe my girl's accord needs some TL wheels ha!

The bolt pattern is the same but not sure of the offset but they should fit fine as long as you don't lower it ,,,

  5. I've got a 2005 Silverado, crew cab, that I've started to turn into an SS Clone project. It has body moldings on each door. Im wondering how they're actually held on, and how hard they are to remove? Any tips would be much appreciated.

Its held on by 2 sided tape just use some fishing line behind the molding working it back and forth it will cut threw it .
