i have a few questions and they might seem dumb..... this is a OEM head unit? out of what kind of vehicle? what is the "clean sweep" thing and what does it do? does it have a seamless OEM look when its installed? im interested and was curious if this could work, i wanted to buy a TBSS head unit and stick it in my 03 SSS but i was worried it wouldnt work..... i wanna keep my steering wheel buttons working and i want my bose system to not change..... is this all doable? without losing sound quality in my bose speakers?

Hey, im in glenview and i go out to lake in the hills at least 4 times a week, and drive right though carpentersville lemme know if you need any help with anything. i was also concerned on if i do this drop if i will be able to squeeze the wheels i want in the wells without rubbing...... im looking into 22 inch XD series wheels, model "rockstar" in the flat black.... i would like to wrap them in 305/45/22 but i dunno if i will have the clearance, how would i go about checking theis?

So i would like to do a 2/3-4 drop on my 03 AWD, and i saw billtech has a torsion key? Is there any benefits to doing this torsion key as opposed to just buying the 2 inch spindle drop? Also as far as the rear end drop, when im looking to purchase the kit what am i looking to come with the kit to make it a complete kit? i have seen some kits wtih just hangers? some kits with hangers and shackles? i wanna drop everything all at once and i plan on doing it in my garage and i dont want to order a kit and come to find out i ordered just hangers and i ended up needing shackles and then im pretty much screwed cuz my truck is all apart? Obviously my first suspension job so all info is much appreciated....

Do they really have a matte finish? there is no gloss at all? Cuz i took my grills, bowtie, and bumper scoops off and painted them all flat black and i really like the look and have been looking for "SS" badges that were flat black. This looks like my only option..... Im planning on Matte black 22inch rims too so there will be no grey accents left..... i just want FLAT BLACK accents, thats the only thing stopping me from scoopin up a set of these stickers...

red or black, i never really liked red till i found my truck and red really grew on me.... I still dont like red on other cars or trucks but the SSS looks perfect when married with red. The color i dont like is the blue...... i dunno why.

my buddy is in the navy and was just shipped to NC before he goes to Afganistan in april. When he comes back he is finishing his service time at the base in NC, and i told him when he comes back i will head out there with my bike crew and we will ride the shit out of the dragon. i have wanted to do it so long and we were all set to do it then he got his orders to go across seas.

for the record i know a 6 is gonna out do a 1k any day of the week when it comes to throwin it into turns. I drag knees all over chicago(ohio street feeder is my favorite spot for those of you in chicago) and i pass 600s on the ramp all the time but it all has to do with rider experience. you get someone who knows what they are doing on a 1k they will toast your ass on a 6. there are way to many variables in that area to argue. im more into stunting anyway, so my bike is not setup for tracks anyway

all the service guy told me was to get it done as soon as possible. i dunno if that meant suzuki has a time cap or if they just wanna get them all done as soon as possible? i dont think it said anything on the letter i got in the mail about the recall about an end date for the recall. As far as the kawi recall with the cam and valves, my buddy had the same problem but he doesnt take care of his kawi's and his zx6r ended up blowing a motor cuz of that cam problem. It was just a bad batch of black zx6rs it seemed like. All the ones that came in with the cam problem were black..... atleast that was the trend where i was at

no i dont have the number, i will ask the guy at the front desk in the service department if you even need the number or anything..... all the dealers know about the recall considering its ALL k5-k6 gixxer 1000s all you gotta do is tell the guy to take it to a service center and tell them its gotta come in for the frame recall. It obviously doesnt cost anything, they will take the bike and inspect it and go from there.

also for the record my buddy has a 07 zx6r and an 06 636 and they are both junk he has had more down time on both bikes. for every time my bike has a problem he has 6 problems.... but look out for the ram air duct where it goes through the forks cuz it cracks and breaks off there alot just cuz of the design.

well when you take it in to the dealer to have them check for cracks they do an ultrasound on your frame to test for cracks, if it come back negative for cracks they weld in frame braces. If it comes back positive for crack suzuki repaces the frame for free

If you own a 05-06 GSX-R 1000 im sure you already got your frame recall letter. But your frame might have only needed a support bracket cuz you didnt have any frame cracks...... Well this is what happens when you DO have frame crack. Complete tear down and rebuild=A LOT OF WORK AND AND EXTREEME CRASH COURSE IN BIKE BUILDING.... anyone got any questions about this recall feel free to ask.

well i dont know any of you guys but i have been wanting to meet other people in person and check out there trucks, everytime i see another SSS its always goin the other direction and i dont have a chance to meet anyone. Im all in i just need a date and I am totally willing to make the drive from chicago to iowa. plus im not happy with my exhaust so this would be perfect i dont wanna waste my money again and find out my truck sounds like a damn spaztic colon again.

Merc Dr. just letting you know, cops where im at always nail you for having the front plate in the window and not mounted on the bumper. i bought my truck and had to buy a plate bracket cuz i got 4 damn tickets. If they havent bothered you either they dont care up by you, or they just havent noticed but just giving you a heads up, the offense is called "improper display". any suggestions for an aftermarket?

Hey anyone know if i were to replace my stock headunit with the trailblazer SS navigation head unit if i would lose my steering wheel controls and the quality of the stock speakers? i dont wanna replace the speakers and i dont wanna lose my wheel controls but i want a flush mount navi/dvd/cd... will the TBSS work? if not any suggestions? if i were to go aftermarket i would also like an ipod input as well

Im getting my new exhaust put on tomorrow and i just put my new intake on today but im thinkin i wanna go forced induction but dont know shit about what there is for a s/c for trucks. what kind of gains are you gettin on different setups? what would be a good brand to look at, i have heard of vortec and pro charger and whipple when i did speed shit on cars but i dunno who makes these things for trucks? I dont know what trims and i dont know brands or setups, any help is appreciated and all advice is welcome. i want big bang when i throw this thing on so steer me in the right direction guys! thanks!
