yo guys, i'm tossin around the idea of building a custom 87 c10 and just wanted to ask a few questions. first off, will the 6.0 fit inside an 87? and also how much could i pick up a used one for? if i do buy a used one, i'll be rebuilding it and doing some mods while it's apart. thanks yall, matt

not as loud as the 40 series. and you can prolly find some sound clips or videos of one, as for the how it sounds.

i may be interested, but you're going to need to go lower than 15,900. there's another for sale on here that's '06 with 69k miles asking 15,900

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- these parts aren't really gm specific. but the pillar pod is. the parts are all in a 1996 c1500 for sale is: triple pillar pod black - $20 cyberdyne blue digital tach - $50 cyberdyne blue digital voltometer - $40 cyberdyne blue digital air temp (sender included) - $50 all these gauges have barely been used. i have them hooked up so i can turn them on at will, and they are rarely on. $120 if you buy it all and all prices are obo. ask for pictures

i've been lookin to drop my truck. mostly becuase my 22's look like 20's and i hate getting asked if i have 20's. so since i've been looking i'm pretty set of a 3/4 western suspension drop kit from sport truck direct and it's only 220 so that's awesome. BUT! today i was actually using my brain. and had remembered a friend of mine screwin around saying just cut the front springs. of course at the time i just laughed. but since i'm very short on money i'm here asking if it could really be done. i noticed that the drop kit drops the front 3 in with just a new spring. so could it really work dropping the front by just simply cutting them?
