  1. yo guys, i'm tossin around the idea of building a custom 87 c10 and just wanted to ask a few questions. first off, will the 6.0 fit inside an 87? and also how much could i pick up a used one for? if i do buy a used one, i'll be rebuilding it and doing some mods while it's apart. thanks yall, matt
  2. not as loud as the 40 series. and you can prolly find some sound clips or videos of one, as for the how it sounds.
  3. i may be interested, but you're going to need to go lower than 15,900. there's another for sale on here that's '06 with 69k miles asking 15,900
  4. anyone? come on guys this muffler is OBO!! make some offers.
  5. got a flowmaster 50 series for sale. it was used for about only one month, it's single in/dual out. 2.5 in inlet, and 2.5 outlets. i'm asking 100 shipped obo

  7. took me long enough to get these pictures up but here they are of the gauges...
  8. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- these parts aren't really gm specific. but the pillar pod is. the parts are all in a 1996 c1500 for sale is: triple pillar pod black - $20 cyberdyne blue digital tach - $50 cyberdyne blue digital voltometer - $40 cyberdyne blue digital air temp (sender included) - $50 all these gauges have barely been used. i have them hooked up so i can turn them on at will, and they are rarely on. $120 if you buy it all and all prices are obo. ask for pictures
  9. i've been lookin to drop my truck. mostly becuase my 22's look like 20's and i hate getting asked if i have 20's. so since i've been looking i'm pretty set of a 3/4 western suspension drop kit from sport truck direct and it's only 220 so that's awesome. BUT! today i was actually using my brain. and had remembered a friend of mine screwin around saying just cut the front springs. of course at the time i just laughed. but since i'm very short on money i'm here asking if it could really be done. i noticed that the drop kit drops the front 3 in with just a new spring. so could it really work dropping the front by just simply cutting them?
  10. an arrival blue in the metro parking garage, maybe same one last night past cinemark. in cypress by the way. seen a black one on jarvis multiple times, and a red one on 249 going from willowbrook. anyone know em or own em?
  11. for the longest it was cheveetra. (like the black girl name for chevy truck) then since my baby's all black and blue i called her bruiser.
  12. wrong section for this post. but take your pick off the internet.
  13. oooohhhh shit! that's honestly a sick project right there. ...and you must love how nice the iphone photos are too. i have one myself.
  14. if you do your front grille black and emblem then do your bumper vents black too. now that would look sick. imo. but yes your tails tinted would look sweet. my boys got a red ss with blacked out tails and it looks sick.
  15. they make look the same, but if the mp44 was the first then it most likely fails frequently. while the ak was designed to be reliable by having the least moving parts.
  16. but when i had my door speakers powered by the amp i had the signal for the amp coming from the front set of rca's and the rear speakers continued to work. bc the rear set of rca's were giving my subs signal.
  17. Yea I did that too, I'm thinkin it could even be somethin to do with my harness. At this point I'm so pissed that I just wanna run my own speaker wires so if somethin goes wrong again I can trouble shoot it and not have to deal harnesses and crap
  18. so my front speakers just randomly stopped working on me and i'm now only getting sound out of the rear ones. i had wired in an amp to my door speakers with signal to the amp from my aftermarket hu. the amp was seeing signal from a set of rca's off the back of the hu. and sure enough randomly the fronts stopped working and the rears continue playing. i've ditched the amp and wired from the hu to the harness without using the rca's this time. and still the same problem. i've checked every fuse in the fuse box, and the in line fuse to the amp and the fuse on the back of the hu. i'm out of ideas to check. i need some help, thanks in advance.

  20. awesome! i don't have the money for nice stuff, but it's a relief to find out that someone else was pleased with these speakers.
  21. yea you can't beat 76 bucks. and since they're components they handle more and they say can handle 100 watts rms. i'm hopin to see that out of em. but was the sound out of them more warm? or real crisp?
