an operator fault while troubleshooting costed me! i thought the driver side bulb blew so i bought another pair of bulbs... after i switched the bulbs i realized they werent the issue so then my next conclusion was that i needed a new ballast so i bought a pair cause i didnt want two different set on my tuck so i switched both ballast out... i then realized that is was neither.. i totally bypassed the fuse before i spent all the money for some new stuff. unfortunatelly i dont have the reciept to return the new stuff i bought so yeah!! i decided to keep the new ones just cause they are newer. everything has been retested when i replaced the fuse and everything works fine. the only problem i had with them was that less than a handful of times (maybe bout 3x) was only one light lit up, the only thing i did was turn the lights off manually n turn em right back on and that always worked fine after. its supposedly a common issue with these coversion kits. cosmetically there is no sign of abuse, but the riken stickers are starting to lift off around the edges of the box due to engine heat/mount plate it comes with. bulbs were never touched with fingers directly. i always use latex gloves while working with bulbs like that. here is a picture of them...

i love my sss but if you got 20k u can have it (everyones got a price)! 2005, awd, silver birch ext, dark grey lthr int, moon/sunroof, front strip/front windows tint matched to back, sat radio (i dont listen to it but i know some channels work) mods are listed in sig... you get everything that is installed minus the audio stuff! has bout 55k/56k miles, never taken to track, ragged out, or abused. i got the truck at 36k miles from a chevy mechanic in miami in july/sept 2008 time frame. front/rear axle, transmission, differential, oil, coolant were all changed upon purchase. since then i changed engine oil every 3k-3.5k miles with mobil 1 full syn only, changed front/rear axles (mobil 1 syn gear only)/differentials at 50k (autotrack II only). i literally just did a oil change and installed a goodyear gatorback belt! i will also throw in the rest of the lube i got (6.5 qt mobil 1 full syn + 2.5 qt of mobil 1 gear)... if you dont want the aftermarket intake, i still have factory set up with a k&n drop in..... like i stated earlier, everyones got a price and mines is 20k. u offer me 19999 then i will counter offer with a 21k, but if u offer me 22k then i'll take it. with all cars/trucks i've owned, i keep my fluids clean at all times and get yelled at by my wifey cause of the fact that i change my fluids to often by her standards.

one of my bulbs went on the kit i bought from you.. whats the going price for a set of replacement 8000k for my 05 sss? i tried to see if i could take the bulb out and replace them, but it looks like the wires are glued to them/thats how they come or is there a way to get a bulb locally and reattach wires myself? hit me up via pm art... i live in norcal and am trying to get these by monday of next week

i have been noticing the bashing on this site lately, especially when people ask for advice... i am not usually one that likes to get into it or break any bridges, so i just stay out of it i have my opinions but learn how to pick my battles as well. glad its all out n everything is cool, now gimme back my e-doob, its starting to run!

part numbers are a must at all these stores, personally i dont care if i have to give them a part number as long as they got military discounts and are cheaper than the other. i am a tight @ss, so i will do online pricing for 4 hrs if it will save me $5

all ac delco decks are usually plug n play as long as the plugs fit and have the right amount of plugs, i've never had a problem with installing any of mine. did it 2x on my 05 non ss and it workrd fine, is it an sss thing?

how are you going to get the stock ones off n trade it?
