  2. WISH I HAD IT! made a member on this forum happy with a sale on it bout 2 yrs ago! to whomever that guy was bump this... sold a few items on this site which ranged from camera equipment to servos... bump if those members are still here!
  3. have a reserve on it due to local sale as well, it will MOST LIKELY go to highest bidder even if my reserve is not hit.... will sell to highest offer on ebay/locally. see link for details. My link
  4. was just stating, as long as you are happy. i doubt i will get what i want for my truck, but i wouldn't do it unless i "felt" it was right. regret will always be there regardless what i do cause the grass is always greener on the other side. btw, call em if its gonna put a grin on your face. they left room for negotiation imo cause it's 2012 and only an idiot would ever pay askin price.
  5. tried to tell my wifey that one but she wants out of cali asap. we live in a preppy neighborhood and all my kids parents are fake...... like living the real housevives of san joaquin county! besides, who like bringing sand to the beach? lol, j/k!
  6. #1 rule for a lifer...... blow it all for the first 10 years, then start saving the other 10.... hit my 11yr mark and i will do what is smart regardless of my personal feelings.
  7. good storing thread! and yes i know they are getting harder to find. when the time comes i may just have to stand firm on asking price and if it sells it sells. i will laet god decide
  8. thanks for your support. what type of stoage did you use? climate control? did you go to one of those places whrere they start your car every so often or did you drain all fluids?
  9. OUCH!!!!!!!! got a 05 with all options and was offered a significantly greater amount by a dealership while looking for a minivan for the wifey. My truck had 64k miles (6 months ago) on it at the time and even the 17,500 i was getting for trade in wasnt enough for me to part with it. IMHO you prolly could have got more for it on a private party sale which would have made someone on this forum very happy. It is what it is and I am sure you did what you had to do given your circumstances. Wheres the pics of the new ride!?
  10. So......... I spoke to my branch manager a few days ago and it seems that I will be going overseas. Apparently my 3 tours to Iraq does not count as oconus. As of right now, my two options are rea/wait and I have a 90% chance of getting one of those two places. I never thought the day would come, but it is what it is and nothing isfinal till i get my orders. I have spoke to many married personel and i am starting to get the idea that rea is the place i want to go which affords me the opportunity to do alot of traveling in that region. However, they will only pay for 1 of my vehicles to be shipped. I have no other option but to take the wifeys minivan due to the size of my family. I ask myself if it's even worth coming out of pocket to ship my truck there and back when I return? Is it really worth putting the truck in storage for 2 years? I have no doubt in my mind that I want to take my truck with me, but financially it would be a dumb move to make. I refuse to leave the truck with my wifey's side of the family for the time we are gone and will not pay to have it held in storage. Sucks for me to say...... The best thing for me to do is sell it! Will see what will happen, hopefully a position in hi gets open and shipping costs 1/3rd the price which makes it worth keeping! Will play it by ear, love the truck but family comes first!
  11. AFTER FURTHER INSPECTION, I SLAPPED MYSELF! The screw did not puncture the tire, it just looked that way, so I just wasted a bunch of cash to replace tires that didn't need to be replaced for another..... 2-3 years. Did a shipping quote for a member here located in Illinois and it came out to $85 via fed ex ground. Price is still the same and money talks, still for sale guys and gals. For sale on craigslist as well for $25 more, located in Stockton CA. Call or text 407 922 7125, pics soon!
  12. I'M IN! played it for the first time with my bro in law on yahoo and loved it! dont know how much it differs from espn version and would rather have it yahoo, but i'm down for whatever!
  13. how much do you plan on spending? i own some pace setter ceramic coated lt's and have no issues with them. i've hear many horrible stories about cracking and discoloring, but i have yet to have any issues of any kind since they were installed 3 yrs ago.... imo, pacesetters will give you the most bang for your buck when it comes to price/performace. other brands cost atleast twice as much brand new and are really not needed unless you plan on throwing a blower on ur truck.
  14. tires are used, lot of life left. found a screw in one of the tires (who knows how long it has been there) and decided to replace all four. i am that guy that replaces all 4 when i have to replace just one! i can send pics via phone if you are interested, size 275/55/20. tire never went flat, but do recommend you remove screw and patch before you reinstall, $350 obo, located in nor cal, will ship if you pay for shipping but prefer local pick up in stockton! call or text for pics, 407 922 7125
  15. subthump.com makes custom boxes for our trucks for DECENT prices. just make sure u find speakers that preform at 1 cubic feet. the solobaric L5 10's are what i'm rocking and they sound awsome. its real easy to take out the back seat and remove carpet to put dyna mat down if you get the down fire type boxes so ur truck doesnt sound like crap from the outside. everything from matting, wiring and installation can be done in one day if you can find time.
  16. know anyone in cali that can come take a look at it? i'll take 20k and pay for shipping to your door.
  17. come to cali and i will sell you mine for 18.5k http://www.silveradoss.com/forums/topic/71108-fs-05-sss-awd-62-miles-silver-brich-sunroof/
