Thats all they offered???? $h!t I was offered twice that w/61k (all stock) by the owner at my old dealership. That was earlier this spring... I should have chose words better, never is inaccurate. But back roads stay around 2500-3000 max, and highways 3000-4000 on the on/off ramps. However on the highway I just cruise with the truck in low rpms and get 16-24 mpg. I only open her up on the on ramps. I honestly cant remember the last time I was above 3000 (except when I met a local here 2 weeks ago). You should add some cameras to your garage and house. I have cameras on my house, a deadbolt and metal chain around my garage door track so the door cant move. Ya I am crazy I guess...

My truck is completely stock w/63k on it, 2003 year SS. The owner of my dealership offered me a pretty penny (much much over the NADA value). It is not, and will not be for sale. Reason he wanted it so bad 1. Truck has never been raced (some computer reads the rpms I believe? my truck has not exceeded 3000rpms) 2. No accidents/clean title 3. All original paint and no aftermarket mechanics 4. My computer has never been flashed 5. 2003 year model, loaded, first year (most desirable) I think that if the truck is still completely stock it will be worth good money. Just have to find the right buyer.

Never seen an 07 in pics or in person, beautifal looking truck. Did the 07s only come in rear wheel only? I have heard a bunch of things and need to be corrected... I heard so many things, 2003-04 were only awd and the 05-07 rear wheel 2003 only awd, 04-07 optional 2003-04 awd, 05-07 optional. 2003-04 awd, 05-06 optional, 07 rear 2003-04 awd, 05 optional, 06-07 rear Tits truck man.

I cant believe when I turned on the tv this year none of the ceremonies were on primtime tv (unless msnbc is considered primtime). We do need reminders of why we are at war. Some guy here tows his racing tires on a trailer on his z06 here. Then swaps his stock rims for racing setup. I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw it ....a corvette trailering. I had my truck and I wish I could have helped out since he lives in my old town I grew up in.

Part of the reason I didnt get a newer M3, I thought the truck would keep me from speeding but I was wrong in some cases...Tried to talk my freind into getting that Camaro when it comes out but he had to go with the Lincoln LS V8 instead.

Thank you a bunch Mr. P, I think the 32 inch tires are what had me all confused. Love that setup though with the 32 inch rubbers. Those blue SSes in the picture look awesome lined up around the track.

Sorry to bring up an old thread, and I dont know how much snow you get but just want to say I think you SS is better in the snow than a bmw. I have owned and driven a bunch of bmws, my mom has a newer 330xi. They are not as good as they use to make the AWD 325iX made from 1988-91. I have not driven their SUV/SAV in the snow, I can only say the truck is superior in the snow to the sedans. Bmws are still my favorite sedans though. Those are some mean hortnets you got there...I was ripping out some weeds the other day and the buggers got me on me earlobe and knuckle. Good luck with your new equipment.
