Just cant stand vandals and car thieves. I was thinking about getting a in case of another attempt to steal my SS, Im sure the results wouldnt be good though and I like my clean record. Someone I know ran over some guy a couple of times for hitting on his girlfriend, but they confiscated his truck for evidence. So I recomend not using the vehicle to give these people love taps. I dont have a badside unless someone messes with my truck, dog or mother...

Havent been able to drive in awhile, but I know I will be bumping this with the windows up when I can. Onyx-Big Trucks I would have nominated this for the background music in the SilveradoSS video/movie however it might be a lil too rap heavy but it describes our trucks perfectly. I was told by my freind whoes been in the car business for ford for over 40 years (he loves the SS) and he said its an idle solenoid? For some stange reason i thought we didnt have solenoids but I could be wrong. My remote started is acting up also, I tried to jump the truck 2 nights ago exactly after putting the negative and positive on the truck, it started by itself with no key in the ignition and we didnt even give it a chance to charge? Had to use my remote starter to turn it off. I have to speak to GMperformanceguy tommorow and see what he recomends. Its very strange.

I am game, should have her up and running soon.

I ran a biker off the road and into the woods who tried to steal my truck. Now we just need a rear wheel drive SS and put his head inches next to the rear tires and have a smoke show . hed shat his pants prolly and for mommy or daddy.

im jealous, good work man looks sweet. I always wondered how that engine would do in our trucks, let us know how it runs.

Horror stories like these (vandalism on our trucks) make me thankfull I have a garage to keep my truck in. Even in the garage I dont feel its safe, I still have other locks securing the garage door closed (some biker tried to steal my truck by pulling a knife on me). These low lifes make me sick. Sorry bout your SS.

wish i ran into a girl like that...my ex wanted me to sell my truck to get her a car. I simply looked at her and said "not happening"....

Just wondering if anyone has the Volant Powercore Air Intake. Also their likes and/or dislikes of the system. I am looking into dry air intakes only and so far the Powercore and AEM Brute Force seem like frontrunners. Truck is a 2003 SS.Thank you.

thank you guys...im going to make a post on the idle issue. I have searched "low idle" and found some articles but I still have questions of how my dealer wants to fix it (I am iffy about it but the fix makes sense).

nice pics, reminds me a of when I use to landscape at a golf course back a few years and see the sun rise. Except the view was always in the woods.

I was lucky on 495 once, officer didnt roll me when I should have been. Just looked in my rearview while in the left lane and there he was.

Live out in central mass next to worcester. Just missed the get together at the chinease restaurant earlier this month, truck had some idle issues that I need to fix (cant drive right now stitches in my neck but need to get it in to the dealer asap). I am dreaming of Lingenfelter equipment....

Love the site. New guy from MA, this is my 2nd truck bought in 05 with 33k, now has 62k. Been reading posts on the site for some time. Just signed up earlier today. Real helpfull on information. Truck is stock (2nd warranty up soon). Drove a Dodge Ram SRT10 Midnite Rider edition few months ago just for fun and I still would take an SSS over the Ram SRT10 (nice tire roaster tho).

Just want to say hi to local MA guys, my first post. Seen a lot of you driving around central mass before. Tried to make it to the meet @ Chopsticks but my truck has an idle issue. Barely drive her. Id love to get together just to check out someone else's SS, as mine is completely stock except for custom bed cover, some police wig wag lights in my head and tailights, and a police antenna. and no I am not a cop, her 1st owner I think was.
