Is all i have to say! How much you think you spent on the build so far tranny and everything excluding paint. I plan on starting my build in january and if the price for speed is right guess ill just have to dig really deep into my pockets .

The truck is also flipped the bowtie is backwards and the driver and steering wheel are on the wrong side...

I was hoping you would chime in chase . you sure know your stuff. So you think that would give me what i am looking for? i wasnt really planning on doing nitrous its a daily driver i just want a lot of power like my old truck. If i have too i might spend a little more money but i still want ss cladding and some new wheels. Not wanting to make a clone just like the sleek look. How much money have you put into your truck? if you dont mind me asking? And a 408 stroker is 8K with mods or just block? Because i know a guy hat gets me the 6.0 block from the ss for like 400 bucks 1500 with everything even tranny.

I may not know too much but the people i know do i just want to be doing alot of the hands on stuff you know like they tell me what to do and ill be doing its my engine i feel i should be part of it. Im going to wyotech next year anyways so ill know more soon. Lol i was planning on sticking with a gas engine instead of diesel. I like diesles if there 4x4 and lifted to touch the sky. Thanks for your input though i hope other people whill chime in soon. Im really confused as of this point and dont wanna create a "dud" vehicle its has all the parts and stuff but is all show and no go due to lack of knowlegde that i missed something. Whats up peoples? im new to the forums long time fan so i finally decided to join that and i had to in order to get ahold of charlie wheatley lol. But anywho I have a 2006 silverado crew cab 5.3. I love this truck to death but the 5.3 is killing me! I need way more power! was looking into a full build cam rods heads turbo. But i figure the stock block can only handle so much so im upgrading to a bigger motor 6.0 or the new 6.2. Another member has told me about a N/A lsx?????? idk what that is some one please elaborate. I go to school and work fulltime (it sucks school takes more funds then the truck but i need it) i've been saving up since i bought the truck in 06 imediatley noticed i needed a bigger engine. My birthdays coming up in january i figure wth i need a present so i've decided to spend my money on my truck. I've come to a grand total of 15 grand i can do in performance. The other 7 grand is going towards custom ss cladding, bumper covers paint job etc. I need help! what should i get? i want atleast 650rwhp. my sisters friends said he'd do me a nice twin turbonetics setup with intercooler and everything for 6 grand ( i would go with a supercharger but gas milage and i've been told a nice twin turbo setup with some not to small turbos will yield almost no lag and more power) so what should i do with the other 9grand ? I have people that hook me up in the parts department and the labor is myself( i have people to help me along the way that have built engines before) What kinda block and stuff ahould i go with? Or should i stay 5.3? Sorry its kinda long but every day look at the calender the d-day gets closer. Thanks guys -Kevin

I have a crew cab factory 20 percent came on back window and back 2 doors. Added 5% on the back window and doors but didnt like how the back was darker so i added 20% on top of the 5% on front so i have 2% now all around except for the winshield gunna do 35%. I love how people try there hardest to look in and all they see is black lol i like to flip em off and they dont even know it. 5% with 20% on top gotta love it 2% ftw!!!!!!!

You say you have a roll pan. You wouldnt happen to still have the origial bumper cover do you? if so are you selling it?

How much For the after tire bed part? its the part by the back bumper correct?? do you only have 1 side? i guess itll do if thats all you have what kinda prices are we talkin?...im listenin...

Do you still have the spoiler you took off when you did the bed cover? If so im interested. I am still in the process of shaving my tailgate will be done tomorrow morning i do not have the relocator kit or painted just primed and ready for paint and the kit i believ is like 40 bucks on ebay from sir michaels. just wondering about the spoiler or if your interested man.

Yeah will do thanks man. Is the tune really worth it? all i have is a Intake Exhaust with no cats and some vette servos. I had bags like in my picture but some jack asses stole my truck and took it for a joy ride. Got it back 3 days later totalled and my bags and entire setup missing even the copper lines!!!!!!!!! nice way to loose 11 grand...lu ckily the insurance fixed it and bought the new bed (dosent look right without bags) im looking into more performance now. But yeah ill keep trying though thanks man

Need Tune!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol been looking into a nelson tune but san antonio is 3 hours away and his price is 100 more then wheatleys. besides I've heard nothing ubt good things from wheatley all he does is chevy and gmc so im guessing specializing in only gm makes may mean a slightly better tune ? Only problem is trying to get ahold of him is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack Oh well im sure its well worth the wait and hassel. Does anyone know if he tunes in person? i use my truck daily for school/work and what not so i cant do the whole mail order tune my truck cannot be out of comission for a day . Oh well its costs to be the boss i guess
