Very nice! About time. Things will go quick once you have the motor and trans bolted in!
We might still end up done about the same time! Lol
-
Lol! VERY nice Eddie! Is it completely hooking with those tires? I'd love to see a pic of that setup!

You won't be disappointed with Precision. I have never had a bad experience with them. Good choice.I've pretty much decided to send back the Circle D and go with the PI 2800
-edit go multi disk. There expensive but it will take anything.
I thought gen III trucks were 78mm. Only the genIV trucks have 87mm tb's?As for the 102, is the opening on the 2300 sozed for a 102? I think it is made for a 90 mm. It is the truck version and the trucks only came with 87 mm

i can see in the tune where commanded shift rpm is, but i dont see the mph part.
I'm sure you figured this out already, but the mph per gear is under the trans settings.

Get that lead sled done! One of us needs to make some progress.

The 2wd still use torque arms right? Lol. I very rarely see a 2wd up here. Lol! I would think it would work on a 2wd.
-
I completely disagree with this. I have been running pure meth with my turbo setups for quite a few years. There is many different setups that work, but I feel if your going to tune for meth then tune for if through out you higher boost levels.
I won't muck up Randy's thread with this though unless he wants to. Lol.

Richard, this is my winter project for my truck. I will be tryin this out. I have read through all your write ups and people are having very good results on this.
Right now I'm just trying to get my truck back together. We don't have much summer up here.
Thanks for throwing this out over here.

Tracks gotta be open by now. Alaska's track is open. I wanna see what this thing runs.yes as soon as the track opens.
-
I sure hope my setup makes 500hp!

Sweet! Better to take your time and do it right rather than rush.
Don't worry. This thing will tear the asphalt off the road.
-
Looking good! Don't fret. You can't rush this stuff. Do it right the first time.
Did you mount your relays on your ECM cover? That could be a pain. If you trim some of the rubber. You can mount them onto the drivers side of the core support. That's where mine are mounted. Hpm was mounting them there and they hid them very well.

Another box showed today. Ever so slowly everything is showin up. I have been waiting over 2 months for this box.
Can you say, 4" downpipe! I can't wait to hear this thing with the cam. And a 50mm wastegate to hopefully let me gate 7-8psi for normal cruising. This is the offset t4 pipe set from kbracing for a t4 s480. All the pipes are WAY bigger than my original kb kit. Hope I have enough motor to push this snail!

Only if Brandon joins us.

Thanks! It's slowly coming together.

I'm in for a silver sticker if you have a few extras. ALSO, you can put my name down for your Cf SS emblems.
I'm so excited to put my new motor in. This will put a nice finish to the front end. Thanks Art

Sorry to hear the bad luck! At least when your done, your going to have big power and a solid drivetrain! I can't em aging for a n/a build the torque that thing is putting out.
-
Piston sprayers are installed. Motor assembly should finally be completed next week minus measuring for push rods and waiting on them.
And I got mine and Brandon's (mid12ss) 4l80 crossmember a done. A buddy of mine welded them up for me. Same buddy channeled my front frame rails to put my air2air in my front number between the rails a few years ago.

I knew it was gonna be a Beast when it came out. I'd love to have one but I'd prob kill myself in it.
But it would be fun trying to!

what is he having problems with? Getting the 2bar setup right? More info needed. And this should be in the tuning section.
