I have a Volant intake (PN15153) that i removed off my 05 Silverado SS. The intake was on the truck for a month before i sold it, prob has about 500 miles on it, This thing is BRAND NEW. Only thing that isnt "as new" is a very small foam seal on the air box adapter that tore a little bit when installing. I simply put a little dab of glue on the seal and installed it with no problems. The adapter is so tight that the seal probably isnt even required, but i still used it. $215 shipped to lower 48. Any one else can inquire for altered price shipped.

I really like the hood..... love the truck, one of the nicest clones i have seen.

I was really looking forward to this but i think i am gonna bail. Long drive towing a trailer up there to have it start raining half way through the day. Wish the weather was gonna hold out but its not lookin good.

Hey steve, I use Adams products and i cant say enough about them. They work wonders!! Dont waste your time or money on the crap you find at auto zone. Two biggest things you need for the swirls is an orbital (i have the portercable) and a good swirl remover. I would be more than happy to help you out if you want. I have all the right stuff.

My 02 silverado 1500 is JUST shy of 200,000 with original everything except the normal wear and tare. Runs like a champ. My SSS on the other hand is about to turn over to 40,000 and i may cry.

thats hard to look at. Cant imagine if that happened to mine. Sry man..... hope everything goes through with insurance.

do your self a favor and test your ground while the tank is out. My factory ground in the wire harness went bad on my 02 silverado 1500. I just re-grounded it to the frame.

I know exactly how you feel man, mine got keyed all the way down the drivers side while out at a bar one night. I went bazurk when i saw it. I left the parking lot completely sideways with all four tires smoking on a dry road....... didnt even know she had it in her. Fckn scum bags.
