Well im finally getting enough parts together to start showing off the new motor for the Silverado ss. The old motor (LQ9) went bye bye..lol. Not exactly sure what happened but both rear, #7 and #8 pistons blew to pieces. It went a best of 12.9 at bandimere with out the thunder racing blower cam on 10 lbs. on to the new stuff..... 408 ci Manley forged crank Manley forged rods Manley forged "blower" pistons Hellfire rings New ls3 heads with PRC double .650 lift springs cam to be determined with help of Zippy. comp push rods Ls7 lifters double roller timing set ls6 valley cover L92 intak with 87 mm TB 3200-3400 stall Stealth 340 pump 60# injectors and the D1Sc, 3 core on 10-12 lbs again.

its a stock bottom lq9, with a d1, and zippy tune. this is at bandimere so the elevation sucks.

truck looks good man but i agree with everyone else. you need to get the grills in the bumper to match the other grill. lol jk man!

I would use panel bond to get it close then use glaze before you primer and block it. Panel bond takes like 24 hrs to dry but i guarentee that it will hold. We use this to "weld" replacement panels on at the body shop.

not sure if these will be big enough to see..... This is the truck winterized. during the summer, i take the topper off and put the nice wheels on.. I know, I know......the stripes on the tailgate are ugly as hell and the will be removed here shortly as well as the handle. also looking to do a 06 front end as well..

Any one have a sound clip of these? What about borla? I really dont like the raspy sound . would these have that old Ford truck sound??lol

sooo...since i am prcharged with a single 2 in 2 out flowmaster this is hurting my performance right. any idea on how much i mean will it be a noticeable gain.?

they say take off a second but im not sure. i am running on a stock tb coverter which stalls about 26-2800 on my set up. i am also running 22's that are HEAVY. mine is tuned by zippy and i think he would agree that with a tune, cam and at sea level it would be a 12.0 or high 11s at least.
