  1. Well I see that your are about 50 miles from Dallas. I would think that you would be able to find a local tuner there. A live tune should be your best bet. Do you have logging software? If so sharing that info here could shed some light on the problem. A comparsion of 1/4 mile times or dyno pulls also would be helpful. Check all the basic stuff as far as connections, air leaks, etc and work your way through the problem. The more info you post, the more help can get.

    Good luck.

  2. Hey, there. Happy to seee you back on the board.

First check the fuse for the seats which is under the panel at the left side of the dash. If that is ok, then it may be the heating element in the seat. Get the dealer to trouble shoot the problem or maybe the body that your other car is in. The LIST price for the heating element is going to be high. I had to price one for my Impala, and said NO to the repair. The whole seat had to come out on that one.

    Good luck

  3. With EFI Live you can modify anything you want parameter wise.

Now there is the KEY statement! BE sure that your tuner knows what he doing. You would not want to pay $100 for a blown up motor. For sure a in person tune can give you great results.

    Good Luck

  4. Thanks, I don't mention it much on message boards, but it added to my sanity in my decision last night. She is in remission and in the best hands imaginable (St Jude) but we still have 2 years of treatments left.... Jan 2011 can't come fast enough, we gladly accept all the prayers we can get :)

  6. WOW!, I was just going to buy a new filter for my 03. Had the part # and everything, but I guess there is no need.

Now I am going to have to check the owners manual as I sure thought the filter was mentioned in there.

    Thanks for the info.

  7. I think that this is healthy conversation to have. It is easy for us to forget that we also had Newbe questions at one time or the other. Don't we all want the SS community to be friendly one? I sure hope so. On the other hand I will go out of my way to help someone IF I see they are also using the search tools and doing research to answer their own questions. That is the way we all learn the most, working together and sharing ideas.
