Yep. Thanks for the welcome. I've spent more time reading than posting though. There's a lot of stuff about my truck on here. Help me know the production for 03' and that blue is the rarest. And that I definitly want a mail order tune when i have the money.

Seen your truck on here a few times and I've got to ask how do you drive at night with the painted lights?

There is no doubt in my mind they will be collectable. The SSS is not overdone like some of the other SS's IE Monte Carlo and Impala. 20-30 years ago everyone was wondering if the Camaro's, Firebirds and other GM cars would be collectable and look at them now and they come in many colors. I myself was a sceptic back in 91 when the 454SS came out and look at how the value has been rising on it. Especialy the Cyclone, Typhoon and grandnational even though their value has been up from the start because their rare and really fast at the same time. Give our beloved SSS 15 to 20 more years and lets see. I just wish GM would have offered more than 1 engine combination just like they did for the 60's SS's. (Maybe a Supercharged 6.0 or GM Performance BB Crate?)

It seems to me that anything you change on a SS just changes the look. I had aftermarket rims on it for a year and had a lot of people ask me if it was a real SS. So I put the SS rims back on. The mirrors were on my old SS lookalike that was wrecked so I didn't pay for them directly.

here are a few pictures off the SS Streetscene site. But keep in mind my truck is a blue SS. And If I do put them on I would be keeping the original,never know when I might change my mind and put them back on. If and when I put them on I will definitly post a pic so everyone can see what a SS looks like with sport mirrors.

Decal means "no lightning" IE Ford Lightning. Got me in trouble with a few. But their day is coming. The big one was a black dale earnhart remote control from wal-mart that my wife painted and gave to me last christmas.

I have a set of Streetscene mirrors power, blinkers on both sides of mirrors. Already painted in arrival Blue. Had them for awhile (A year)but debating taking the stock one's off. Can I get some feedback to help me make up my mind. ONEBLUESS 03' SSS

does this make me certified SS crazy? Large truck was painted with actual Arrival Blue paint.

I wish I could show off the engine like some of the guys on here. All I have is a AEM and a few blue fittings under the hood.

thanks! I have put the factory rims back on my truck since that picture and I plan on having them chromed like yours. I had the aftermarket rims on it for about a year and felt they took away from the SS look and bought them back from who i sold them too.

I like no problem better but end up going to state capital because it's closer. There is a guy there sometimes with a black 03 SS.

I've only seen one 06 SS like yours. It was around the walker area. Guy was using it to haul around his crew for a construction job......What do you run in the quarter beinf 2wd? Any traction issues?

Here are some pictures of my old SS clone and the wreck it was in. Three days later I bought my real SS on ebay. I did take all the blue dash and blue window switch holders and put them in my real SS.

Here it is one of the first SS's for the 80's 1983 SS Cavilier Type-10 Being a teenager back then didn't leave it in good shape.

Yea I have no idea how I posted three times. If someone knows how to delete those please do. My wife handpainted the bowtie and I cleared over it. She copied the design off my 83 SS Cavilier as a tribute to my first SS.

I've owned my truck for over a year and just now got on SilveradoSS. Thought I would get on and show my truck. I'm sure it will go in my will. I can't wait for another 10 years to go by so I can restore it. It's a 03'. Ran 1/4 mile and the best time was about 14.3. I plan on collecting some more SS's (91 SS truck, 83' SS type-10 Cavalier and 87' SS monte Carlo) since my initials are SS. Hope you all like.
