  1. i have an 03 silverado that came with manual seats. i have swapped them for a set of SS seats. i plugged the seat harness into the stock harness and the driver seat works on all the movement and lumbar. for the passenger seat, i had to run a power wire, but it works fo rmovement and lumbar as well. however, since my truck doesnt have a button for heat, i didnt think about there being that option in the seats. i recently realized that they (probably) have heated option too. my question is: do i need a harness that goes from the seat to the door to the switch or do i just need the short harness (with the switch on it) that plugs into the door panel where the power mirrors go?
  2. i'm in this same situation. factory manual seats trying to swap to power SS seats. help please? any is greatly appreciated!! thanks. Kipp
  3. do you know more about the hot/ground wire set up? which wire (black like normal) needs to be grounded? i just bought a set of SS seats for my non-SS truck. when i plugged in the pass. seat, it won't move? i wondered if getting power to it would be an issue? please help!! Kipp
  4. do silverados and trailblazers have the same bolt pattern? if so, are they interchangable as far as backspacing goes? i found a great deal in my area on some wheels that are listed as trailblazer wheels, and i don't want to pass it up if they are a straight swap. Kipp
  5. i have a drivers side power mirror (no heat, no blinker). it is all black plastic, not sure if thats what you need or not. its clean, no cracks, scratchs, scuffs, etc... i'll try to get a pic posted here in a bit so you can see it.
  6. do you have a complete system or just the HU? if so it may not be a grounding problem. many times the whining (which usually varies with engine speed) is due to running your antenna (blue wire i think) to the amp and RCAs too close together... may be something to check. just a thought...
  7. my keyless entry quit working. it happened all of a sudden. the range didn't start fading or anything like that, so i assumed it wasn't the battery; but i tried switching the battery anyway, still doesn't work. manual power locks still work fine. is there anything i can check on this 'clicker'? or do i need to get a new one; if so, how do i go about sync-ing it to my truck? Coco
  8. is there a mega master list of GM OEM radios that can be swapped 'plug-n-play' style? i found one out of an 08 G5 that i like. the part number is 25775626. is there anyway to know? help, anyone?
