  1. First-time homebuyer's credit here you come! Congrats man!
  2. Perhaps in this situation, the best question is which one looks better? I'll take Fox! Simply amazing.
  3. If you guys wanna hunt pheasant, ya gotta come up this way. Some of the better hunting in the state, outside maybe the Winner area. Sadly they're some of the dumbest creatures ever and seem to be interested in heading straight at blue SSS whenever they see it! So far I've only hit one.
  4. Me and some buddies at my bday last year (I'm the one 2nd from the left) Me at Naval Academy's graduation for my 'bro' (front right) Me and pre-SSS... Lotsa good memories there!
  5. If its in good shape and you like it and its what you're lookin for pry $3500. I'm with Derek on this one though, if you're gonna pull with it go with a suburban/tahoe/full-size pickup, the rest isn't worth the torment.
  6. Only when I leave city limits or see a cop... The one accident I've been in was in city limits and for some odd reason I did have my belt on (got hit in the right front quarter, shot 90 degrees to the left across two lanes of traffic and rammed a telephone poll), but still it doesn't seem to make a difference for me. Always kinda been that way and pry always will be.
  7. For the last 5 years nobody cared in Fargo either way cuz they didn't play each other in anything... that will surely change in the upcoming years! Oh and Sioux Suck Sh*t was still my favorite football chant!
  8. Yeah I saw that in your intro... very cool. I guess when I lived in Fargo I don't recall ever seein any SSSs, but I also spent most of my time up around the campus so...
  9. Well I've had my SS since mid-April and have been in love ever since. Soon after I got it, I started looking for a forum where I could get tips on different things people were doing to them and lets say I was very happy to find this site. I've done a few things to my truck since I bought it, but plan on doing more. Thanks to all those on here who are so willing to share their experiences with these vehicles! Now for some pics... These were taken shortly after I got it and put the wheels on it. Since then I have put on a Shopman bowtie and Magnaflow X Pipe with stainless tips dumped out each side. Hopefully I'll get some new pics taken soon.
  10. Scott - Bison1040 because I went to North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND and their mascot is the Bison and two of my good friends on the basketball team were #10 and #40
  11. I am definitely wanting to join, but there is a slight chance of another commitment that I just found out about today. Put me at 80%! Thanks! --Scott
  12. Jay- As far as a route is concerned I would think the easiest would be to run outta rapid up to Mt. Rushmore (maybe flash a few pics up there with the faces during the day, although there is nothing like seeing it at night), head back down the hill and run south on Iron Mountain Road, take Needles Hwy north into Hill City, then just run 385 into Lead-Deadwood. Although I really think a run through Spearfish Canyon should be in the works there as I just went through it again today and still cannot get over it's beauty. If everyone wants to end up at the track in Sturgis, you could easily run through L-D/Spearfish Canyon, jump on I-90 and right back into Sturgis. Myself, I don't care either way if we end up at the track and would probably break from the group to head over to Trailshead Lodge to say hi to some good friends there. Anyways, just tryin to help out with some logistics.
  13. I'll be out there tomorrow for 5 days to do some four-wheeling, but as of now wont have the SSS. A late August meet would be better I say just because then we would for sure be clear of all the bikes and it would be a little cooler outside. Either way, I'd try to make it work!
  14. 2.599 for 89 and 2.699 for 87. Have not check premium although last weekend in Rapid City it was 2.349 for 89, 2.389 for 87, and 2.549 for 91. Speculators man, speculators. I'm not big on gov't involvement in our personal lives, but in this case they need to step in and up the margin requirement for buying oil on speculation. That would help out greatly.
  15. To go along with what Fox said, assuming you have fresh gas in the machine, I would clean the carb first. Also would look at the needle and seat to make sure they are sitting properly inside the carb. Good luck.
  16. More SoDaks... gotta love seein SSs instate. Rocker I'll be down in the Spearfish area 2nd week of June doing some four-wheelin but not sure if I'll have the SS or not...
