  1. I dont wanna change anything on it only cause it will affect the value, I think the fleet side would look better to, but I used to have a 97 GMC Sierra GT that was a step side, on that year I thought the step side looked great

    IMO...not a big fan of step sides....BUT, stick a fleet side bed on her and thats one badass RCSB! like the interior too! Congrats on the new ride

  2. lol everythings for sale for price, Just wierd cause I have no idea what its worth??? I saw a RST on ebay that isnt done up half as much as mine and has like 25k more miles and the guy is asking $14,777.

    I think that the part about picking up more chicks with this than the SSS is all you need to know to hang on to it a while.

    When you get tired of being bothered with all the chicks, sell it to me. :jester: :jester:

  3. Im not to sure bout the yellow either, thinging bout flipping it for a lightning or another SSS but I live on Hampton Beach and have already picked up some really hot chicks with it in just the first few days Ive had it, I never got this many girls attention with the SSS, so I might hang on to it for a bit unless I get a good offer on it

    The interior is sho-nuff bright, ain't it?

    I think that of I had it I would want to lose the yellow in the interior, paint the truck black, and call it a day.

    But then it would lose it's appeal to collectors, so maybe I'd flip it.

    Don't think I could handle all that yeller for too long.

  4. Well according to this it is a stage 3, gotta say has a mean engine in it, but it has a engine tap, I believe its only a lifter

    I had never heard of a Silverado RSR, so I looked it up. Here's what I found:

    The Chevy Silverado RSR was built by Choo Choo Customs (a subsidiary of LA Customs and Legen Motors Worldwide)

    The RSR Stage I featured:

    * 350 HP SLP Performance Pac

    * 1.85 Ratio Rocker Arms

    * Cold Air Induction System

    * Custom Tuned PCM Programmer

    * Stainless Steel Headers

    * Stainless Steel Exhaust

    * Front, Lower Body Facia w/Driving Lights

    * Body Color-Out Grille Accents

    * Painted Door Handle Covers

    * Exterior RSR Badging

    * Rear Bumper Facia

    * 2" Lowering Package

    * 20" Custom Wheels and Tires

    Stage II added:

    * Simulated Cowl Induction Hood

    * Power Sport Mirrors

    * Taillight Covers

    * Soft Tonneau Cover

    * Performance Tuned Suspension

    Stage III added:

    * Custom Instrument Cluster

    * Custom Leather Steering Wheel

    * Two-Tone Custom Leather Seating

    * Carbon Patterned Interior Trim

    * Interior RSR Badging

    They came in either Yellow or Orange.

    Do you know which stage you have? Regardless, nice deal!

  5. so my 03 SSS had 278k on it and I traded it last weekend for a 02 Z71 loaded with leather and 119k and a 86 Harley FXRS Custom, sold them bothe that weekend, got $6500, for the Z71 and $4000. for the harley, then I was with out wheels. picked up a 02 jetta turbo loaded off cl with 128k for 2 grand, and today I just bought a 2004 Silverado RSR with 50k for $7,000. I think I just wanna drive it for a lil bit and sell it cause idk if its really my style but I have no idea what I can get for it, any ideas? I dont have pics of it just yet but can get some soon if u guys wanna see it. Its black n yellow stepside in great shape, 1 owner

  6. I wish it was that simple, Ive gotten gas at multiple places since this issue started

    Before you spend time and money on a fuel pump try something simple first...Where do you get gas? I had very similar issues in my truck and i threw a bunch of maoney at it..fuel pump, etc.. and it never corrected itself because I kept getting shit gas at the same place..by coincidence i stopped at a shell on my way home and filled it up..next mornign the truck fired right up and never had those issues again since swithcing stations

  7. I also would like to know if there is a how to step by step and or mabey a lik=nk to that youtube video and a link to the gm thread, I tried to find the youtube video but couldnt find anything for the silverado. Seems like this is a fairly common issue, a how to would be pretty helpful if anyone out there could help, Thanks

    is there a link to this bulletin or a sticky or something of the sort?

  8. Yea so I changed my fuel filter and my fuel pressure regulator and no change, still starts hard..... dont say its the starter lol, I promise its not, It cranks over just fine, its just that before it would start right up and lately it cranks for about 10 seconds and doesnt fire on the first try, once it does fire sometimes it will sputter to life for a couple seconds(not every time does it sputter upon start up) but once its running, its fine, no loss of power, no issues. I have had a P0496 check engine light code for a long time, I usually just clear the code, If I remeber right that is a evap sensor? not completely sure, could that be the issue?

  9. Sorry to here that man, I got rear ended last summer in Mass, by a GMC Envoy, the ins. companytook excellent care of me surprisingly, the body shop on the other hand did a horrible job and cut corners, so mad at myself for taking it to Portsmouth Auto Body, wont make that mistake twice!!! Mine had frame damage to, but yours looks worse.

  10. Ok so I change the fuel filter, and no changes yet. It is definately not the starter, the starter cranks just fine, it doesnt turn over slow or anything, it just doesnt fire up right away. Im gonna test the fuel pressure as soon as I can. can anyone tell me where the fuel pressure regulator is? and what one costs? is there a way to tell if its the pump or the regulator? A mechanic friend suggested it could be a crank sensor any thoughts on that?
