  1. I'd prob order that same exact setup. That's one of my favorite color/option/package combos on those. Plus you got to build and order it all perfect the way you wanted and keep all documentions and such pristine. Can't never sell that ever!! Looking great!!

  2. That sucks to hear about the wheels. Out in Ohio we have guys with big box vans that travel around to dealerships and can fix them on site. Alloy wheel repair stuff. Maybe someone like that could get them to a usable state for you? If u got them close just balancing them it wouldt hurt to ask someone like that. But it's coming along real well for you. Gonna be a fun car when u get it done!!

  3. Man I kinda hope you don't sell it. I had my 02 that started as a w/t for 11 years and sold it and still regret it and that was just a work truck i started with. Couldt imagine selling this thing after all that. But good luck in your future plans bro. I'm sure you'll make the right moves

  4. Noooo! This was hard for me to read through. Really hoped it was some sort of sick joke and twist at the end or something. This was a perfect build and one of only 2-3 that would bring me back to the site every so often to check in on. Hate to see it get parted so hope it sells as a whole and could be completed and finished and taken care of. I'd consider it 100% if I was in the market. Good luck with everything and any future builds. Any plans for what's next or anything?

  5. Wanted to throw this out there for the ones that heard the rear bar didt add much. When I had my 2002 I added a rear bar. I just made mounts and added a stock Tahoe rear bar for the time being and WOW is all I can say. A rear bar does so much for the trucks. They should have been on there from factory (especially the SSS) these kits look very nice and top notch. Like the way they mount also. Anyone on fence about it, trust me, you will be very satisfied, surprised and love the way it handles.

  6. This is a interesting topic. Very surprised that they are doing the refresh this early like somebody already said. I honestly don't think they needed the refresh but if they do a full redesign for 2019 it does make sense. Think they feel pressure from ford to do something major body wise, like the extremely over-rated aluminum body bullshit. I feel like they kind of over complicated the front of both of them with this refresh. I Like the gmc over the Chevy at this point. But also like the 14-15 gmc over this one also. Someone mentioned Chevy adding more special models with the Silverado. Think that's partly due to dodge and all there variants. Every other ram you see now is the "black out edition". Getting old real quick and Rams seem outdated already. Seriously 3 people I know all bought Rams this month and all are the black out edition. And man do they think they are the cats ass in ther super custom awesome trucks with black wheels and trim. Hahaha. I don't know if GM will build a SS version. I think they are scared to put SS on anything really right now, ever since the cobalt, hhr, Impala, ect., ect., days when you could get pretty much every model other than express and aveo with a ss package (or bumper like the equinox sport) lol. Sorry for the long post. After 10 years at a caddy/Chevy dealer and leaving, hard to find anyone to talk new GM stuff with often haha.

  7. I don't know why they changed it already after only 2 years when seeing how long the older styles all lasted. Looks more like the canyon/colorados. I like the 14-15 style a lot. Gmc more than the Chevy and the half tons more than the bulky 2500s. Guess we'll see what they do for 2018 now haha. Good link though. Thanks.
