  1. I love the mirrors on regular cabs like some said. Had them on my 02 and sitting waiting for paint for my 05. Agree that they look small on the ss. Plus you lose the power and features of the stock mirrors u less you spend big money and get the power turnsignal ones. Good call going back to factory though

  2. The weight and truck config. is what makes its so damn sweet to make them super fast. Plus a truck pulling 11s that can seat 5, haul a fridge, smoke factory GT's and drive to and from the track, is way cooler in my book than a 2 seat sports car doing 1 of those things. Hahaha. Your doing great work, keep it up buddy!!!

  3. Hey what's up man. Long time since I seen you in here. Good to hear from you. Sounds great that you are able to find work out there easily. Not easy to do. With that quality I see why. That looks amazing. Great work. Keep us updated. Last I remember you parted your truck and was getting a c6 vette. Ever find one?

  4. Looks great man. I love it. I would be soooo tempted to paint the coils too. Even just a charcoal gray would be a subtle change and enough to take away that stock black plastic look. Or even AV blue. Something diff than the black or red ones. That engine bay is quickly becoming one one my favorites to look at. Wire tuck is looking amazing also. Great work as always. Keep the updates coming!!

  5. I've held the mod 2 Springfield in 9mm and .45. The 9 and 40 are pretty much identical and the 45 is just a tad bigger overall cause they had to redesign the whole frame to hold the double stack 45 mag. Mod 2 is deff 100% gonna be my next purchase. Same overall size as the xds just a sliver thicker, again, for the double stack mags. And a 9mm subcompact with 16+1 in extended mag and the Springfield reliability just screams "buy me"!! Found the 9mm in Ohio for as low as $459 and the .45 for $549. All black.

  6. The Cavalier came in aqZ24 package. I had one a long time ago, and I loved that car! What it was like to be a kid back then. The Z34 came out in the Lumina, and the Z26 was the Beretta. They also had a pretty fast Beretta that had the Quad 4 in it. But the 4 cyl. always over heated.

Man everything you listed I loved. I had a love for FWD GM performance cars of the 90's. Grew up in them and they were available and affordable. Had them all I feel like. Z24, z34, z26, GTu, GTZ, and the GTp. The quad beretta was a GTZ. Stick shift. Only made in black, dk red white and blue I believe. Had color coordinated 16" wheels that matched body. I put a black set on my white 91 z24. Looked awesome haha

  7. I used a stock Tahoe rear sway bar on my old 10 bolt. Little custom work and it fit great. Can have it mounted with around $50 in materials plus price of sway bar. I got the installation in my old build thread with link to a how to on pt.net

  8. Wife just got me a XDm 9mm fullsize for Christmas. Add to the 1911 range officer from 2 Christmas ago. Love love love how this XDm shoots. Awesome gun. I was looking at the same xds sub compact .45 u got Jason, for the wife. Got her a 380 LCP rugar. 4th 6-round mag through it and the whole slide fell off when she was shooting. I hate that damn thing now and can never trust it again.

  9. I've cleaned a ton of nasty door pockets without removing them in 12 years of detailing. Never found one that I couldt get cleaned and needed to remove. Usually just spray a liberal amount of strong cleaner/degreaser in there, light scrub around with brush then spray them full with a hose (gets the cracks and crevices with the water pressure) and vacume the water out with shop vac and dry it with towels. Can make them look new like that, just careful not to get frustrated and always use the correct brush that won't scratch plastic.
