  1. Yea I have the same question there. I thought u had to change them from the lil holes in the underside of the bumper which I couldnt get my fingers in there. I was gonna use a pair of rubber tiped pliers so I didnt break anything. So how do those lil covers come off on the outside of the bumper?
  2. I had this same issue about 8 months back when I got a crack pipe stuck in my tire, lol. We just kept working the thing back and forth and if finally droped. I will go get my secondary latch looked at myself. Also a good friend of mine had the same trouble in his 03 Trailblazer. So this is definately a GM problem that should be recalled in my opinion. I think we should all throw our names in the pot and send a letter to GM getting the problem fixed.
  3. Where can I find ur sound clips of ur exhaust man. Yea I may do a dual in dual out cuz I thought about that as well. With the DT headers I wont have cats so there will be that rasp but I usually like that sort of sound so Ill have to see how that turns out.
  4. Very nice man. I have the 4100 model and this is just the updated version of that. I know McMahan on here bought one of this and is gonna install it soon. You should really like this unit.
  5. Ok this is where my head is at far as finishing off my exhaust after the LTs are installed. Currently Im completely stock except for a Magnaflow 2.5 dual in and single 3in out. Im thinking aboutt having fresh new 2.5 inch piping made from the headers to this Magnaflow X pipe http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...ain&id=8463 then do 2.5 duals into 2 of these Magnaflow mufflers http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/shopexd...ain&id=8056 then just dump it in front of the wheel like I have it now. I was gonna do 3in but after some talking I think it wiould be a lil overkill and wouldnt have enough backpressure. So let me know what you guys think about this idea and please give other suggestions/comments. Thanx!
  6. Looking for a nice set of billet racing pedals for the truck. If anyone has a set they want to part with let me know.
  7. Yea, I should have went to the link first, lol. Diaamn man that is a hell of an event to happen. Have u found out how much it will b to fix the damag? I had to use my spare once so far and it gave me crap trying to get it down to.
  8. No not yet cuz I havent had time, but I will soon. Im debating on how I wanna finish the exhaust out when I get the money. I think I wanna go with a x pipe into daul 2.75 or 3in. into 2 magnaflow mufflers then out in front of the wheel like it is now. Should still be plenty of backpressure so I houldnt loos much down low especially since Im gonna tune for the LTs and such. What you guys think?
  9. Ah the speed limit on the freeway was 40 and i was prob goin about 42-45 as they give you 5mph leeway here. They ruled it her fault as I had a green arrow and she turned to get onto the interstate without a green arrow.
  10. Yes, that I am. This woman turned right in front of me in a Honda CR-V. I hit her in the pass rear quarter then we both jumped a curb.
  11. I hope noone has lifted a SSS cuz I think it would look retarded.
  12. I dont care what brand it is as long as its a low-profile cover and its in good condition. Also as long as it comes with all the rails and such. If anyone has one they want to part with let me know, thanx.
  13. I believe I told you guys last year taht I bought my SSS after I totaled my 02 s10 Xtreme "Bumblebee". Well here are the pics of the damage to the truck that I finally got up on my Cardomain page. Noone was hurt in the accident at all thankfully. I also have a link to my SSS and Firebird Cardomain on the page as well. I only had the Xtremem for a year and the SS has came along further than the the S10 did. I only had a sound system and a few boltons on the S10. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3019115/2
  14. Well I will check at a local shop and see how much it is first.
  15. Hey guys unfortunately for me I found a small dent in the passenger side of my bed about a foot from the taillight. I was considering getting that Dentout system that you can remove the dent yourself. Have any of you guys used this or know of an easy way to get the dent out. I dont wanna have to take it to a shop and pay like 200 bucks to have it fixed. I also heard you can use dry ice to make it pop back out which seems feasable but I dont know if I wanna try that. Well if any of you guys knows this system works or any other tricks to get it out please let me know. Its about the size of a baseball but its not very deep. It looks as though someone nosed my bed as they were backing out of a space or parking into one near my truck cuz there are a few lil scuff marks as well but I think I can buff them out.
  16. Or you cna buy this stuff by 3M that cleans clear plastic to a shine. You can get it a Walmart in the auto section for like 6 bucks I think. Ive used it and it works great espectially for people who have headlights with them being turned yellow.
  17. That is a pretty cool location man. Wish I had a spot like that around where i live.
  18. I never was much for the rear gfx piece on these newer ones but this Camar is definatly badass and it looks good on this one. Im sure hes pulling some good numbers with it.
  19. It definately looks good bro. I cant wait to do mine. I got a set of Thorley LTs coming also and I think Im gonna go get it tuned before that install and get a baseline.
  20. Well Ill have my EGR tune dout also so Ill just prob remove it completely just like I did in my Firebird. So to do that all I will need is a plug of some kind to put into the intake.
  21. Well I always wondered what that would look like and now I do. I have to agree I dont like it either but if you do then thats all that matters.
