  1. Okay So I dont need one. Just weld in the new bung and im good to go.
  2. Okay who makes one to work with the phatom? and where do I mount it? So the Air/fuel reading from just the guage is usless?
  3. Okay thanks Man! so ill plug the old one back in and where should I mount the new one? Whats a wide band controller? wont the guage work by its self?
  4. Hey guys. So yesterday I picked up an auto meter wide band air fuel guage. I hooked up the gauge in the dash and that all went smoothly. I hooked up the new o2 sensor before the cat on the drivers side but now the stock o2 wiring harness wont plug into the new one so the engine isnt getting that reading. Im wondering if I missed somthing or if I have to get an adaptor or if I should weld in a new port for the new sensor and leave the stock one alone. I have been searching for a while but I cant find anything. Thanks for the help!
  5. I have a new LS2 intake manifold off of a crate engine and I was wondering if the fuel injectors off this manifold are any better then the ones off my 04 LQ9?
  6. there is no need for a new fuel pump if not using any other kind of performance kit like meth injection or nos,if ya did then you would need a fuel pump. i never got the pump from the guy i bought it from. i tapped into my oil filter housing with a 1/8th pipe thread fitting and the return they wanted me to drill the oil pan but i modified my oil level sensor to have for a drain. i bought a new level sensor yesterday so i will take it out and give that to you. and no i dont have the part number for the kit. i left a power steering pump on for convience just makes it easier for ya. if a fuel pump is a concern to ya there is a inline booster pump for under 100 bucks from any auto shop but it is not necessary at all. dont know what ya have for a programer but it has to be tuned to run the 44lb injectors, im running a predator diablo sport wich is totallr programable by any performance shop. this is what he said. I already have/use a diablo sport tuner. Would this all work?
  7. perfect, thanks man! how hard was the install? I found the instructiions on the vortech site. Looks like alot of wiring.
  8. Hey guys I am thinking about buying a Vortech Supercharger system off some guy. I am wondering what I should look for, what should be included and what kind of modifications I would have to do to install it. The system is off and 04 SS same as mine and the price is under 3000 Can. Any input would be great
  9. nope couldnt find nothing. Does anyone know how much power having the LS2 intake manifold and 90mm TB will make?
  10. Okay thanks man, what is the thread called or what should I search?
  11. So the Dr.X harness peice would go onto a 90mm throttle body? And the rest bolts up including the fuel system? Where would I find that harness?
  12. I did and there was a couple of threads but i didnt understand.
  13. I salvaged an LS2 intake manifold today and im looking to put it on my 2004 SS, I think I need a 90mm throttle body and a MAP sensor but where do I get these things and is there anything else I would need to make it work? The intake part number is 12589181 I think its off a GTO engine. Does our engine run a return fuel line or not? Thanks for the help.
  14. Call around to your local preformace shops. Also Grandwest is located in Saskatoon, try them.
  15. I am wondering who makes the best twin turbo kits for our engine (2004 6.0 AWD) and if I did install a kit what modifications would i need to do to the engine/drivetrain to keep everything reliable. I am not looking for crazy power just a good increase over stock without a complete rebuild. Also, is it wise to make your own set up? I'm a welder and could fab up down pipes, brakets and even a manifold but does anyone make these parts? Thanks.
