Well due to my money situation I was not able to get a stroker kit. So I had the block punched .030 and got a set of Diamond forged pistons and scat forged rods. Had the stock crank turned. New std. volume high pressure oil pump and a new set of Manly stainless valves. All block work was done by Hatfields Racing in Joplin,Mo. Deck surfaced, bored, honed and all balancing. Valve timing, ETC. I guess a 364 bored .030 over would be about a 369 or 370 C.I. I have not been able to get my new Quick Fuel carb adjusted. It runs really rich and I haven't drove it very far. I don't want to ruin the rings or get a bunch of fuel in the oil. I have ordered a new carb from Pro Systems.

Yea, the shop is Hill's auto and performance. He moved his shop out west 7th just behind the golf course. And (haha) my truck is still setting in his lot. Will be at Mokan this fri.Email is [email protected]. Truck won't be ready for a few more weeks. Waiting on a carb from Pro Systems. My Quick Fuel just didn't work.

Well It was nice while it lasted. I should have done the bottom end. Heard a knock and drained the oil and cut the filter apart , had filings in both. Glad I turned it off right away.Well now it will be another 8 months or so to put a rotating assembly in. Would like to go with a 427 , but worry about over heating when bored .060. Any experence with boring that much with the cast 6.0 block?

You will probably need to check with someone who knows the formula for slick size. Depends on horsepower, gear ratio, what kind of RPM you are going to turn and a number of other factors.

Thanks I was really suprised the way it sounds. I'll put a video on soon of start up and of under the hood also the dash. I have MT slicks 28X 9 X 15. The run on you tube was on my road with just street tires. The carb needs some different jets,it is really running rich. And probably different plugs. Thanks for the interest. Steve Sr.

  8. That is a big step.Small business is what makes America great. If this is a good chance for you and your family to get ahead, and you can make it work for you, go for it. I'll put you on our prayer list.
  9. I have 4.10's in my RCSB and drive everywhere. Just not real good on fuel mileage or to go 160 mph with. But on the track and stop light to light it does the trick. Matter of fact I'm probably going to go to 4.56's. And yes it's my DD. Have fun...............
  10. Really great looking wheels. I was considering those for my rcsb.I was also looking at turbo thrust st chromes. The replicas look great. Where can they be bought?
  11. Really a nice car. Only I just can't see putting that kind of abuse on a motor and drivetrain, etc.Especially when nobody can see the car for the tires going up in smoke. The car really sounded great and I wonder what kind of times it ran. Just my opinion. Awesome looking car.
