Well, I just learned a couple new things about my truck here.

Iowa is a rough place. Just kidding, I can see Iowa from my house.

There is a close up in my profile. I can do any color you want. When I made mine my center caps looked like those in the original post. I bought some new GM ones and they have the emblem in the center that doesn't come out. I suppose you could put the decal over the emblem if you wanted to. These decals are cut to fit right in the center of the cap. I can make any decal, any size or color.

I have the same chrome caps on mine and they turned green this winter. I bought a set of GM ones on ebay to put on in the spring. I made the stickers in the center of mine if you are interested in a set.

Pics would be great. I want to do this in the spring. How would it sound with all stock exhaust with gutted a cat?

How much was your truck lowered. I love the stance.

I made the decals in the center of my wheels. I cut the SS logo in them. I could cut some with a chevy bow tie as well. Look at my avatar. PM me if interested. I do all sorts of vinyl decals/graphics.

I have read the posts on here but no one seems to have done the repair themselves. I don't want to take it to the dealer if I can do it myself. My passenger side works fine but the drivers side only comes on for a few seconds then shuts off. I am assuming it is the element in the seat but has anyone changed theirs themselves? Could you give any details? Thanks

Is that a direct replacement muffler? I still want to use my stock tail pipe.

I had a F350 diesel truck. First and last. I loved it at first but that was short lived. I sold it and bought my SSS. Think about it some more and it will come to you.

Where is the truck at?

10k worth if you pay a body shop to do it. I would guess that is still high. Unless the frame needs work I would say I could be in that for a total of 10k and driving a nice truck. I wish I would have seen this before I bought my truck, seriously.

You may be able to get one for not much more than that. I just paid $14,600 for my black '03. There are some nice ones for sale on here. Check them out and make a deal. Good luck.

Is there a such muffler that is just a replacement muffler that sounds good? My stocker is just to quiet and I really don't want to spend on a cat back system. Plus I like my stock tip. Does one of the performance muffler companies make a direct replacement foy my '03 SSS? Does anyone have one on their truck? Thanks.

I was noticing a puddle of water under my SSS this weekend. I looked and saw it was dripping like in the summer when the AC runs. I checked under the hood and the aluminum AC part??? was very cold. Is this normal for our trucks? Sorry I am a new SSS owner with some questions about my truck.

What is wrong with your gas caps? Mine looks fine. the rubber O-ring looks good and soft. I don't see any cracks or problems. Is there something obvious to look for?

Auto Zone said it was an evap problem and could be the cap. My cap looks fine but I know that doesn't mean everything. Why won't the light go out after I unhook the battery though?

The check engine light won't turn off on my 03 SSS. I once reset it by unhooking the neg. battery cable for a little while and hooked it back up and the light was off for a couple of days. It came back on so I went to Auto Zone and got the code P0446. Auto Zone said they are not allopwed to turn the light out so I went home to do it myself again. This time it was unhooked for about 3 hours and when I hooked it back up the light was still on. I then unhooked the positive side for about an hour and when I hooked it back uo the light was still on. Can these only be reset once? Or now do I have a worse problem? Please help.

I wiggle the plug and nothing but when I wiggle the wires it works again.

It seems to work correctly or not at all.

So I just bought a Sss and I have noticed that the thermometer/compass works most of the time but I have noticed that sometimes it is working and then later it isn't. Why would it work and then not? Can anybody give any suggestions on where to look? Thanks
