You need to get one Dan. Now that you got all that money freed up. Beautiful car. I love that color and the interior color combo.

If I can come I will try to give you as much notice as possible. Also if so, I'd like you to save me a spot next to your truck if it's possible.

I'm over in Pensacola. I may be able to come by for this. I have to clear it with the wife, make sure I don't have any conflicts with school, and check on the weather (my SSS doesn't come out to play in the rain). It would be awesome if we could get some more members out there.
Anyone else planning on going?

I have a lot of guns, but here is my little PDW I've been building. I'm still waiting on my buttstock to come in the mail. I have a North Eastern Arms CCS on order. Once installed, with the stock collapsed it will measure 21" overall length. I put a 8" Noveske 300BLK barrell on it. Haven't gotten to shoot it yet since I am still waiting on a bolt : (

When I click on my location, I am the ony one that comes up. Whats up with that? Sorry, not trying to hijack the thread. The number on the map is the number in the general area. Sent from my DROID RAZR MAXX using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
Nevermind, I see. As I zoom in the number goes down. I get it.

I like how he put that it was very clean and very well maintained in his description, yet it is filthy in all the pics. Did you see the dirt on the steering column? A DEI SSS should never be that dirty, especially when you are trying to sell it.

Now that we got the member map, this idea seems a lot easier!!!
Speaking of the member map. Does anyone know what the numbers mean. My number has changed a few times, does it mean something?

Good deal ... I was quoted $4500.00 ... seemed a bit steep, but I guess that's the going rate ... what can you do.
That's a lot better deal than I'm getting. I would jump on that. They really aren't too bad though. Main issues are that your teeth will feel huge and you may have a lisp when you say some words.

I actually got invisalign last week. It was a little uncomfortable for the first 2-3 days. My whole program will be a little over 9 months and it will cost about 5500 total. I'm active duty and uncle Sam wasn't buying so this route is the only option I could do. Anyway, let me know if you have any question

What ever you do don't get that fluid on your hands! At all cost's
Or your paint. It is corrosive.

Additionally, I would never crank the keys down that much in the front. I would either go with lower control arms or drop spindles and drop keys to get 3" in the front. I personally have the spindles and keys and like that route.

I was actually thinking about getting that same wheel with the red inserts. Thanks for the feedback on it. I may have to reconsider. Do you regret getting it?

Welcome from Pensacola! I know you said you were deployed, but let me know if you pass through.
-
I will keep you in my prayers bro. I went through this a year and a half ago when my father passed at 67. I'll tell you, it doesn't matter what age they are, what age you are, or what age your kids are, there never seems to be a good time for this sort of thing. At least in your case and mine they both went peacefully. Stay strong, time will help.

Truck looks sick man. I like both looks but I guess I prefer the current look. Gonna look great once you get your ducts. Love your stance. What's next for the truck?

Generally people buy CF for the weight savings, not the look. If you just want the look wrap it.
Weight savings on an SSS!

Flip kit and 1" lifting shackles, plus the notch. I'm on 305/40/22 with a 3/4 DJM, and I'm going to try the same thing in the rear with either fender rolling or cutting.
Cool man. Thanks for the info.

lol that site was run by members on here when things got hairy on here
Hairy on here?
-
Wow. I never even knew that was there.
-
one more inch in rear you will need to notch it.
I'm glad you chimed in Norcal, I was thinking about pming you. I thought the limit was 5" before you had to c-notch. Is it 4"? Also, how do you personally feel about removing the helper leaf?
I know my other option is to do a flip kit. Right now I have the 4" hanger/shackle kit on the rear. If I'm trying to get 5" though do I need to do the flip kit and return to factory shackles? Thanks.

Thanks for the advice gents. Looks like if I do proceed I'll be rolling them.
-
Well how low are you? What size tires are you running? What are you thinking you would need to cut? You can only roll the rear of the truck. The front fenders have a large lip on them that you would not be able to roll. Not only will the front rub against the top of the fender but it will rub the fire wall if you go to low or to big of a tire.
I'm currently sitting on a 3/4 drop, looking to bring it down 1 more front and rear. I'm running 295s and have maybe about 1/8" of clearance now if that. It is hard to tell, but I know I don't rub. Just thinking I would like at least 1/4" of clearance for my own comfort. And yes, I'm only talking about the rear.
If you decide to go the cut method route, would atleast use some rust inhibitor. I have seen moisture get in places and cause rust. By the time you notice it your screwed. The fender roller does a nice job.
I plan on using rustoleum if I go this route, then put my undercoat over that. Just never had to use the fender roller so slightly worried about it messing up my fender. Are they idiot proof?

Hey man. Yeah, it's looking good for tomorrow. Everything has fallen into place for me this week and right now we are planning on comming. I'm going to give the truck a rub when I get home from work today so it will be clean for the show. What time are you getting there? Also, what's your real name so I know what to call you tomorrow? Mine is Chris. PM me your number so we can coordinate.
