  7. heres the exact muffler link: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/WLK-17553/ i'll take a pic of it tomorrow
  8. well being that stock exhaust are sold on here for around $50 i would say pay me $250 and trade
  9. possibly. would you be willing to pay a little also? i have $400 into what i have on now
  10. lol me too!!! i got the tailpipe and tip though, just no muffler
  11. thanks a ton for the tip! i think this will be my last attempt at the drone problem!
  12. lol i wish i could! me being the dumbass that i am never got the stock muffler back! if i could do it all over again i would have left it stock! oh well you live and you learn! i'll post a final update if i ever get it squared away! thanks for the help
  13. im thinking of doing the x pipe first and if it doesnt fix it then do 2 hooker mufflers. since i will already have the x pipe in in theory i should have no drone anymore lol. i heard that having the x pipe closer to the engine is better than having it at the rear of the exhaust too. any input is welcome!
  14. me and a couple guys at work (chevy dealer) were looking at my exhaust today trying to come up with ideas to get rid of the drone. one suggested an x pipe a couple feet in front of the muffler and the other suggested putting 2 small flex pipes a couple feet in front of the muffler. i know the dynomax muffler has a built in x in it so would it be beneficial to put another one in further up on the exhaust? any info would be great!
  15. i have a dual in single out if interested.
  16. yeah im not sure what im going to do with it. just keep experimenting with exhaust combinations i guess. dynomax has a 90 day safe and sound guarantee with there mufflers if you arent happy so i may try that route but who knows if it will work. im leaning towards the dual aerochambers or possibly flo pros and an x pipe. where can i get flo pro mufflers? i live in mentor, oh a half hour east of cleveland.
  17. no headers and stock cats. i have 2.5" tailpipes that exit out back under the rear bumper with 3" tips. the only time it drones bad is in 4th gear between 1500 and 2000 rpms and once the exhaust warms up. when its cold its fine. im probably being anal from what everyone thinks lol.
  18. it had alot of drone in the cab. i bought a dynomax instead but it drones too. someday ill figure it out right!
  19. i am selling a magnaflow 12595 muffler that is like new. i only had it on my truck for a week and a half. you can see the details of it here: http://www.planetmagnaflow.com/shop/magnaflow-12595-897.html here are a few pics i took of it also. i would like to get $100 plus shipping for it. its boxed up and ready to go. email if interested!! thanks.
  20. does anyone have a bolt in stock catback exhaust for sale? i live in cleveland, oh and would be willing to drive to pick one up. ive had it with my drone and want it stock again lol.
  21. well the drone with this dynomax ultraflow x pipe muffler is starting to piss me off. does anyone have any suggestions for what i should do at this point? im thinking of switching to 2 dynomax ultra flow mufflers (or any other for that matter) and putting an x pipe on the exhaust in front of them a bit. my old z71s exhaust was so much easier than this!! the problem is that i want everything PERFECT on my SS and im not happy with the exhaust right now. the exhaust guy is cashing in at least LOL!!
