Im driving around 75mi round trip with my vMAX. Racking the miles up quickly and gas is bad. So if I get the bike im sure its way cheaper. I rode my buddies 04 R6 tonight and its quick def different that a dirtbike Haha. I got a quote from progressive they want 107 a month for decent. And 114/yr for liability. Just don't know what bike to get really. Not the 1000. To much bike for beginner

yah the 600rr top speed is 177.... thats plenty. i just need something better than the gas my truck gulps. even with a bike payment, insurance, and gas for the bike im still coming out ahead

im concidering getting a bike a parking the truck as im spending about $500 in gas every month. so im throwing the idea out about getting a street bike. the bike i like the best is the CBR by honda, i have a honda dirtbike that i love. being its my first bike what is good? ive seen a CBR1000RR for $8195(08 with 2500mi) or 08 CBR600RR($7195 21kmi) im just stuck on which to get being its my first. i was gonna say that didnt have that much damage on it to be a total loss. i hydroplaned in my vMAX(was in 2wd street flooded 8" of water going 35) and took out a street sign, bus bench, bus sign, and slid into 2 parked cars . it did 15k damage and wasnt a total loss. it was all body panels, no frame damage. glad to hear the insurance decided to fix with all OE GM parts.

i have the 14 bolt rear end 4.10 gears. 4L70 trans Lq9 4wd and mines 9800lbs. GCWR is 15,300.

13.6/13.4/13.2 are way better than what im getting. im onll getting average of 10.8 in the city and 14.7 on the highway. im lifted and 35" tall offroad tires tho so im sure that doesnt help my motor is all stock except for tune. i have factory intake with drop in knn filter, and flowmaster 70 series DI 2.5/ DO 3" dumped. my MPG is crappy cause my right foot likes to go through the floor 75% of the time.

i just went to DDM huntington beach store(3 mi away) and i got 2 kits for a buddy 55w slim ballast. but we have plenty of room for the normal size ballasts.

DING DING DING my 06 LQ9 red lines at 6k and thats plenty IMO. i wanted to up it to 6200 or 6300 but im sure i would run into some problems so im keeping it at 6k till i save up for stroker kit, cam, and trans.
