i "heard" theres a sensor inside the shock that detects stock ride height. idk if thats true or not but was told voids warranty.

my vmax doesnt have traction control. its also 4wd so thats prob why.

my 06 has 2 in lift blocks but if i take them out i only have 1" up travel till i hit bumps. im thinking about cutting the bumps a lil so when i go camping i more up travel.

what i meant was the bulb from DDM is the same for both 9005 and 9006. it just uses 2 different size o rings to seal out the elements. the box that my bulbs came in said 9005/06 on the box. it came with blue orings on the bulb i had to take the blue o rings off and put the thicker orange orings for my low beams

ddm only has one kit for the 9006. the 9006 fits the highs you just switch to the blue O ring they give you. orange o ring for lows. i have the 55w 8k for my lows and fogs. they are way bright. i also have 2 hella 4000s 55w 8K also behind the grill. i already had one of the low beam bulbs change color on me. i drove to the HB store (10min away) and they replaced them no prob.

i was looking at SSBC for a rear disc conversion. its about 1200.

okay when i come from a dead stop to accelerate theres a clunk in the front end on my vmax. but only when i start accelerating or reversing. i know my pitman arm, idler arm, and tie rods are bad. i just dont know what the clunk is. any thoughts are gladly appreciated

my 4L70E does the whole jump when i start also. im with you on this one. its ready for some fun hahahaha

i actually had a 00 ext cab S10 with the 4.3L auto it was actually a fun truck. a good first car, then i realized im 6'2" 280lbs. i need a bigger truck. so i upgraded to the one i have now and boy will i never go back to baby trucks again only gets bigger from here

im no expert but maybe the theft lock on the radio is blocking it? i would go to local stereo shop and ask they would prob know.

yah i dont have the SS wish i did. i have the vortecMAX. mine tops out at 98mph. for now it does when i get a actual PCM tune its getting removed. but im waiting to get a intake, and headers before i get one.

ive had a couple civics for dinner they dont expect a big truck to keep up but when i spin and chirp tires like them they. give me a second look. then they eat me ass end. but they always get me at freeway speeds. i top out at 98 havent had it removed yet. i bought my truck with TM removed nothing else done.

i was driving home on the 15 last night and this brand new hemi came up next to me and was speeding up and slowing down. trying to get me to race. then finally i agreed. and damn those ****ers are slow. i started pulling on him right away. he had the 5.7 HEMI, i have the 6.0 LQ9 vortecMAX motor. my truck is lifted with 33" tires his was stock. im just astonished mine beat it so easy it was pathetic.

yah ive seen the slip ons before but didnt know how good the worked. ive seen a lot of the camper mirrors on 1500s and they look pretty good. from the front looks like diesel. but once it pasts and you see the baby bed you know its not.

yah they are bright for sure i have 55w 8k in my lows and fogs. i also have 2 55w hella offroad racing lights that if someone cuts me off or when its really dark out i turn them on they are way brighter than any people i know.

damn i wish i could go but my work called me out to work in washington but i couldnt say no to the extra dough i would get working out of town. i really wanted to go to this. so hopefully theres another meet sometime soon this year that i want to go to.

49,555mi on my 06 vmax. when i bought it, it had 36,360mi back in july 09. now it has a little more, its my DD so ill deal with the miles its still strong to. driving up to moses lake,WA tomorrow so add another 3k to the odometer.

yup im bringing my baby. its been in the bodyshop for like 2 months so i havent had a chance to drive her. so i figure why not a 1,183mi road trip lol. i think im gonna be up there for a week or so. then i drive to portland for a week. then to richond, ca for 2 weeks. so its gonna be good. lots of $$$$$$$.
