  2. Hi there! I'm an importer and distributor of HID in Guatemala, Central America. I can tell you that HID will work great on you factory housing, just lower the beam so you don't bother people in front of you. IMO go with digital slim ballast, 6000K, 35 watts. Buy just for the low lights (9006), you won't feel the need to use hi beam. If later you want to buy the hi beam (9005) i'll suggest you get the 4-hi conversion kit, so you'll have lows and highs on at the same time, but with this you have to change the fuses. Any other question I'm at your help.
  3. I have an 8 year, 4 year, and 3 months old boys. I take the 2 older ones every day to school (they love to go on the back seat). The only problem, as said before, if you have to park between cars. For the little one, with the baby car seat, we have done it. The 3 kids fit fine, but we don't use it as a go out car, we have a suburban for that. But IMO the Sss will work great with kids in the back. It's a great truck. I say DO IT!!!
  4. I'm looking for a change on my 98 suburban. It's been a great car, but time has come. I'm in no hurry so I'm taking my time on finding something great. I was looking for a 2004-2006 Suburban. While searching, a dealer offer me a 2005 GMC Savana 3500 Extended. It has the 6.0, towing package, 1 Ton, 12 passenger, 65K It's like a bus. So, I'm looking for some reviews or comments, there aren't too many on internet. Anyone has had one? Comments? Thanks!!!!
  5. You are the owner, what are they worth to you? I'll need them ship to Miami.
  6. Do you have pictures of your 20's? how much do you want?
  7. I say you have a little patience and always keep looking, eyes wide open. I talked to a lot of people and dealer down here and I guess everybody knew I was looking for one. I finally got mine for $13,000, it's a 2003 with 57K miles. It took me about 1 1/2 year. I'm from Guatemala, Central America. An old guy had it stored mostly, and he just bought a new Tahoe. So, my advice would be, KEEP LOOKING!!!! This trucks are worth every penny.

  10. Thanks all for the suggestions. I've been looking over the internet for your recommendations on colors, all are very nice. I stopped by a friends shop today (he's also helping on the project), and he just painted one of his trucks. Here are some pictures, let me know what you think.
  11. Thanks!!!! Site is already great, now it will be better!!! and....we could use some time off and do some real work, jaja Keep up the good work.
  12. I say it's waaaaaayyyyy to ugly, over-done. It's too much money spent the wrong way. It's something I would never do!!!!!
  13. I started about 3 years ago with the project of building up an old suburban my father in law had stored. It's a '76, with the 400 engine 4X4, so I have spent some money in the mechanical part, transmision, transfer, tires, suspension, upholstery, etc. Now it's up to the final part: PAINT JOB!!!!! I haven't decided on the color. Original it had the light blue in 2 tones. I'm more into single color now. I was thinking on the blue that suburbans and blazers had in the late 90's. I recently bought my SS in Arrival Blue and the color it's fantastic and head turning. So now I'm not sure about which blue to go. Any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks
  14. I couldn't say no to the deal. I reduced $1000 for the rims. Didn't do that bad.
  15. Here are some pictures. The guy who sold me the SS, kept the 20"original rims for his '10 Tahoe LT and gave me his 17". I'm looking for LTZ (suburban, tahoe or avalanche) 20"rims, hopefully will find them.
  16. I've been looking at the forum for a while and it's great. Finally got my new-to-me 2003 Arrival Blue SS on January. What a great truck!!!! Already putting some extras on it. I'll try to post some pictures on the next days. I've been a true chevy fan for some years and the SS is really outstanding. Nice work on the forum, keep up the good work thanks PEDRO
