  1. yeah, I got some lame fix-it ticket for my tinted tail lights 2 weeks ago, my brother has a 2000 silverado 1500, with some aftermarket headlights and tail lights..wanted to just switch em out for a day, get the ticket signed off and then switch em back
  2. This is random, but would the 2000 silverado 1500 tail lights fit an 06 SS? thanks.
  3. yeah, I plan on flush mounting the tweeter somewhere, there wouldnt be any problems with the depth or anything of those speakers right? thats what i meant to ask
  4. arent those sps600's 6.5'' speakers? do you think there is enough depth to mount http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/p_18521_Alpine_SPX-13REF.aspx ?
  5. alright, what would be required to fit 5 1/4's in the rear doors? and Ive got a pretty big amp in mind..its 100x4 at 4 ohms, and 250x4 at 2 ohms, should be enough i think.. for the 5 1/4's i should wire them to the amp right? 4x6's only to the headunit?
  6. Im lookin for a more glossy, black. what do you think? that does look pretty sick though
  7. Has anyone painted their stock SS 20'' rims black? Im wondering how it would look, if anyone has pictures, please post em. Thanks
  8. you think 40 rms to each channel will be enough? do you know if the amp has anything to do with sound quality? also, will a 4 channel amp cover the tweeters too? im not too "amp-knowledgable" haha
  9. Hey all, im looking for some advice on a budget friendly amp for these speakers im about to get. any insight/opinions are much appreciated. Thanks Speakers: 6-3/4''- Alpine SPX-17PRO 4x6's - Alpine SPS-406 If anyone has suggestions on a different set of 4x6's, please dont hesitate!
  10. Ah wow, yeah i really like the option 3, You think i wouldn't be satisfied with 2 8's? the funny thing is the 2 8's have 100 watts more than the 2 shallow 12's I have in my truck right now, I think my problem is how small my box is right now. Would the box for the single 10 fit fine facing downward? Also, would vented or sealed be a better way to go for lower frequencies? seems like itd kind of stick out into the leg room. Thanks again for the help.
  11. Ah yeah Im more of a rap listener, so the deeper bass is what I want. Would the box for 2 8 inch L7's be able to fit under the seat, while meeting the requirements? The reason im asking is my local car audio shop told me the biggest subs id be able to fit under that seat were a pair of shallow mounts. the Ported boxes require more space too so I'm wondering if it would fit
  12. need some advice on a good box design for 2 Kicker L5 or L7 8'' subs, I've got the crew cab 06 SS, I also want the subs to be facing rearward, any advice would help, thanks!
  13. Im selling 2 12 inch hertz es 300 subwoofers, very nice shallow subwoofers rated at 350 RMS each..and an enclosure to go with it, fitting in the SS crew cab, PM me for more info on em
