Gonna try to get my heim kit put on this weekend once the parts I need get here. 3" DJM LCA's + McG's spindles w/Calmax shox Flipped UCA's with Moog balljoints Replaced wheel hub bearings TSM rear disc conversion Monroe air shox out back Crappy Iphone pics FTW! Put some new headlights in...my others I couldn't get sealed up good.

I'm definitely gonna need one with an air bag. I guess the 06 SS has a different wheel than the olders ones. Cause mine does't have a circle in the middle of it like the picture shows. Just the bowtie embeded.

No kinda want to get rid of the tie rods altogether. One less thing to grease ya know.

I'm looking at getting a Heim kit made for my truck. Whenever we put the drop kit on one of the TRE's snapped. We had a hell of a time trying to find the right TRE for it until we looked at 3500 HD tre's and wala. So I was wondering...is just the outer end that's the same as the HD's? or is the whole thing (rod and ends) the same as the HD's? Also if anyone knows....do these trucks use rack n pinion steering or a centerlink setup? Sorry...I'm still learning these trucks! Thanks!

Only thing I can say is if you think you may wanna go lower in the future....go ahead and do it now. I put a 4/6 on my SS and only problems I have is I have .5 rake. But I'm hoping to order some drop arms soon to fix that.

For the arms is it $325 shipped? I'm interested in them.

Yes it is! I think I got over 30 hours of paint correction/detailing into it. The wheels are 22x9.5 with 285/35. The drop was around $900 or so. All Mcgaughy's. Me and a buddy installed it all. It actually drives really good. Haven't hit a single thing yet. It rides like a sportscar is the best I can explain it. Not to stiff and not to soft.
