Thanks. Actually did that myself with a billet bowtie and some vinyl. My painter said paint probably wouldn't stick that good and a powdercoater said he couldn't get the lines as straight as I wanted them. Vinyl shop gave me the sheet of vinyl for free. Definitely the cheapest mod I've done so far lol.

Finally got a chance to take pics of the whole thing as it sits. I think the drop came out to be around 4.5/7. Don't know for sure though. It's come along way from stock and still has a ways to go but it'll get there.

^ So you saying just go with a stall converter instead of the servo/shift kits? Or the stall converter along with the shift kit, servos, etc?

Thanks guys. I definitely wanna do this before I get the tune. Gotta do it right the first time so I don't have any regrets later ya know. The wait time on the scan cable is about 6-7 weeks right now so I got plenty of time. Was thinking about 75% of TM taken off. That a safe amount ya think? Any suggestions on which particular shift kit, servo, and trans cooler to get? Searched on here but everyone seems to have their own preference.

Alright I really want to get a tune for the truck. But I started reading and it seems ALOT of you are beefing up your trannies either before or after your tune. I know nada about transmissions. I change the fluid in them and that's about. Seems alot of you go with Transgo shift kits, servos, and Trans coolers. My truck is basically nothing but a toy really. Just something fun for me to work on and drive around. Don't ever plan on towing anything and will probably never take it to a track. But if I wanna get on it or leave some prick on the road I'd like to be able to without having to worry about the tranny. So having said all that what would you guys suggest I do? The only engine mods to the truck right now are CAI and exhaust. Looking at going with a scan cable tune from Black Bear. Thanks in advance!!

Working out a deal on some different wheels right now so the SS 22's will be up for sale soon. Got the escalade peice to get rid of the antenna. Traded a guy from the forum my 3 peice covers for this. Gonna need repainting but it's already smoothed so it saved me the work. Just waiting on my CAI to get here so I can start smoothing all the peices underneath the hood. Smoothed the mirrors and had them painted. MUCH BETTER! Had the tailgate shaved and smoothed the top pad of the bumper cover. Also pulled up the middle pad and had the whole bumper cover repainted. Just a picture of the front end. DONK

Too bad your not looking for the street scene speed grille cause I have all 5 of those. For billet I got mine off ebay and couldn't be happier. If you wanna ditch the stock mesh grille just take a dremel to them.
