  1. I want one there sick but with the roads around here just cant have one there absolutely terrible thats why I wrecked one time. you can be the best rider and you will eat the street here. I know everyone has there dump but this cities roads are seriously insane

  2. now as far as the srt8 and all there nice and pretty fast but the gas still totally blows on them. I GOT IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I`ll make a 10 sec civic running 35 #`s!!!!! no im into like the STI`s but heard they ride horrible, also I need the car a manual, auto feels a little "disconnected"

  3. bikes are a little "iffy" to me. I`ve had 2 wrecks on a bike one smaller one bigger so there not my favorite but definitely fun. Well the gto seems to be out of the question from all the reviews you guys have given me, but as far as the cts v being better I have heard even more problems with them, BIG TIME. Whatever car I get will be more of a toy for racing and summer and will by a cheap 4x4 truck for the winter. Theres more reasons im selling the truck other than gas although that is a big part of it. I dont work in construction anymore so dont need a huge bed, takes a lot of money to make these things go fast. The c5 im still on the fence about. Might just get a WS6 and mod the shot out of it!peelout.gif

  4. [i'd probably just buy an older Camaro SS or WS6. Both with the LS1 can be pretty fast and get good MPG. Plus you could get a decent one for way less than $18K. Spend less and mod or just put the extra cash in the bank for parties and whores lol

hmmm I do love parties and whores. I mean who doesn't. I always looked at the ws6 like I said there my favorite car when modded and just look sick even stock but there interiors are just complete garbage that turns me off a little, and the c5 theres a good 20k plateu for the c5`s just a lot of c4`s plus I dont know if I want a Vette just yet thats more of my life crisis and im only 17 so that can wait plus no backseat will rip me a new one on insurance thats why 350z is out as well. any more ideas?

  5. I remember a review (car and driver, maybe?) Where they took the Vette, GTO Mustang Cobra, SRT8 Charger/Challenger and the Camaro, CTS-V and pitted them all against each other. The GTO miserably lost to everything. As previously stated, the suspension was, in part, to blame. Yep, it has the power but if you can't get the power through the car and to the road, its useless. The corvette is build to compliment the motor and the motor is built to compliment the body. The C5 was engineered from the ground up to have every system of the car work together with each other. GM didn't just slap parts off the shelf together.

Every car on that list was 10k more than the gto new. So that doesn't help much. But I know why you posted thanks. Well I will have about 18 grand when I sell the truck with cash. The only problem with the vette is there hard to find sometime with good miles. Plus I'm. 17 and need a back seat. Plus replacemnt parts for them are crazy along with after market. Plus you just have the 'corvette' stigma that you have to be the fastest car ever made. Same goes for the V I love them but very hard to find plus have the same engine as gto but a way slower. Rustangs can suck my balls all day and ill never own one of those shit boxes. And I LOVE ws6 there actually my favorite modded car by far. But not the fastest cars out of the box and pretty common cars as well. I know I'm asking for a lot but its hard to decide on a 'performance' car any options would be appriciaed. Thanks guys

  6. ditch the vararam and get a svede OTR(over the radiator) never seem one done but if theres a vararam theres a svede hopefully. both are more of ram air style CAI and actually TRUE cold air taking taking ambient air from outside not the hot engine bay, the car and somewhat acts like a ram air at speed. both to me the best performing intakes EVER. the only problem with the Vram is the intake is so short it messes with the MAF atlest on the GTOs it does. Happy modding!

  7. Well I`ve alredy basically decided on selling my truck. Yes it sucks but it cost me 20$ to go back and forth to school and if I need to go anywhere thats just more money. Plus my drive next year to college will be even longer. Well just asking if any one has experience with GTO`s, the bang for the buck is insane and very nice quality, plus T-56 6 speed, and o yeah just 400 hppeelout.gif(tips the scale a little bit). all this and you get 25 MPGS stock and with a few mods and tune some guys getting 28 on criuse which is great. please post any opions thanks guysdbanana.gif

  8. also doing it right the first time does not mean to go balls to the wall. You can always upgrade. But alot of people blow the sts to pieces saying it sucks but from what I have seen they are very efficent turbos on a stock car and with a 3k stall will rape at the track all day. im +1 for sts systems. himata13 is selling one for 2k right now jump on that. Also tranny upgrades are a must especially because you can launch a sts so hard. shift kit, servos and you should be fine as long as you dont beat it to much and keep the boost around 5 psi. Have fun with FI just dont break anything haha. Goodluck peelout.gif

  9. thanks for the good responses I was worried no one was going to answer. see now here is the dead horse question.... efilive or HPT? I have personally seen HPT (never used just looked) and it seemed very easy and the 2.0 is supposed to be 1000x better which I believe is out now. The only reason I`m considering EFI is they have Tuning 101 and 102 which i believe are EFI based classes?confused.gif Another prolly dumb question but do you need a wideband? I know you need NGK for a boosted application but just for any car or if I wanted to tune my buddy at the track can I just use OBD or is it needed? any help would be really appreciated thanks guys as always big help! Sorry for all the questions!peelout.gif

  10. Im not quite sure if this is the right sub forum but if not move it. My question is if I purchased hptuners how harrd is it to learn how to tune? As anyone that knows me I love to learn about anything espically cars. Also what is the main difference between pro and standard. Can someone just explain how everything works with credits and all. I will not be using it on my truck more than likely so are these universal kits since my next purchase will be a LS2 and also want to tune my friends car and make a little money once I have experience. Is the 650$ plus wide band worth the investment? Thanks for any help also is anyone will to mentor me? thanks again fellaspepsicheer.gif

  11. Ha putting cut outs will do the opposite. It will take more low end torque, do to the lack of back pressure. My friend had a cobalt ss supercharged. Bitch was a pig when his flex plate got cracked due to no back pressure and would not bring full boost. Moral of the story no back pressure no low end torque.
