Why are so many turbo kits sold under 1000 miles? Just not good or a lot of problems or what? Just wondering because I'm looking into get a kbracing turbo kit.

Ha I guess it takes a fellow smoker to get your grammer but as far as your question. Rwd is good for a mildy modded truck but awd does not have a problem lauching at all except if you get a 4k stall with 1000awhp like chase. I believe the fastest ss are awd at least most of them. Or you get serious u can get a comstom setup like flacos 8 sec reuck it lauches in 4 wd but then changes to 2 wd.. so its all up to u bruh bruh

nice vid how did you get tour trans temp up? in cleveland here it never gets over 120 in the snow even aftr a hour drive and all.

Which one do you guys like better? theres alot of good info on performancetrucks.net but if you dont know everything they kill you on that site. I personally like this site better you can actually ask questions and still have good info about just our trucks.

well if you have another 3k thats 6k , you can have a badd ass turbo setup for that.
personally id look into one of the new billet wheel turbo designs. a few of the companies are making them and they are making 10-15% more power
front mount for sure. with the awd and 4.10's turbos are the best for these trucks . supercharger are great for stop light to stop light but any kind of real race like 1/4 mile turbo's are great . though they take more time to setup correctly . ifi have had both although i made about 700 awhp with the blower and im making near 1k awhp now there is no comparison. turbos also seem to be a bit softer on the drifvetrain as low end torque isnt as harsh.
turbos seem to be a bit more complicated in how they work but onces setup the adjustability will help put more power through out the powerband
Haha I was waiting for you to chime in actually chase...and yes I do have 6k total but I know the trans will go so I can't spend my emmergency money in case something breaks well not in case but when it happens. And yeh like I said I'm pretty much set on a front mount and how much will the 4.10s help?
Also I race everyother weekend 1/4 with a bunch of friends

IMO i would do a Cam and then beef up the trans
THat does help but the thing about the trans is I alredy have a shift kit and servos but I personally dont care about my tranny I have another 3 grand waiting on a big boom so its just down to the engine now.
I dont know im really leaning towards a turbo hmmmm just need some more in put thanks guys

And my goals are 525 hp. And its set on a turbo and used supercharger now. I love turbos and know alot more about them, superchargers ehhh im ok but not my original nature but im open to new things. So I know this will be personal prefence but who likes turbos and who likes superchargers and why? The thing I dont like about superchargers are the take power to make power when a turbo uses waste energy.
Well unless I found a really good deal on a blower Im 90 percent for sure on the turbo. But does any one have a kb racing turbo? what do you think of it? and another turbo system is TRICK i`ve been looking how to get into contact with them and cant find nothing so someone help me out please.

Well I got the basic boltons: CAI, headers, hd2 shift kit, tune, exhaust. Thing is I got 2500 bucks to spend. What should I buy? I havent bought a stall yet because I want to match it with a cam but the big debate is...KB racing turbo starter kit, but I cant find a way to contact him or trick. Which do you prefere? Or a stroker kit, prolly a 408 with everything buy I dont entirely get what a stroker kit exactly does so some one please clearify this for me. Also this is my DD so pretty drivable. Thanks everybody what would you rather have turbo or stroker?

I believe rwd is faster in quarter mile awd only wins in 8th mile I think. but from a roll rwd is a tiny bit faster because it weighs less
