  1. 99 chevy silverado LS 5.3 Power everything.

     

    2/4 belltech drop. with nitro 2 drop shocks.

     

    TSP 224R cam 112lsa. pushrods, springs, retainers, etc.

    Pacesetter long tube ceramic coated headers. true duals no cats with 2 bullet mufflers.

    ls6 ported oil pump.

    160* t-stat.

    NGK TR 55 plugs, MSD Red wires.

    Blackbear tuned

    3200 triple disc stall, with carbon fiber lock up clutch.

    Transgo-HD2 vette 2nd servo and billet 4th.

    sport mirrors.

    paint matched everything.

    headlights, smoked 03 tail lights.

     

    20 in wheels. 3.42 posi rear end

     

     

    03-05 front end. comes with brand new never put on front bumper.

    truck was hit in the back. frame has some damage but have estimate that it will take 5hrs to repair frame. you can buy a bed cheap and it will be perfectly legal to drive.

What all you would need with the TVS1900...I would recomend getting a 3.0" pulley, use the injectors that come with it or buy some 60lb hr tall siemens deka injectors, J-Tube isn't used on the newer TVS1900 and I wouldn't buy the old one, and as for throttle body I'd go for an LS2/LS7 car throttle body with x-link or 102mm throttle body. Those heads btw will work excellent on a 5.3L with a blower as long as you make sure they keep the cc of the chambers tight. As for that camshaft I'm not familier with the overlap of that cam, but the specs look reasonable for a blower cam.

     

     

    why wouldnt you buy the older tvs?

     

     

    and how cn you tell its the older tvs?

  3. im going to be purchasing a tvs 1900 kit most likey from a member on here.

     

     

    im new to F/I and im wanting some info and help with this.

     

    what all would i need with the tvs 1900? like pulleys, injector size, fueling, throttle body, j-tube all that.

     

     

    after i get all i need for the kit, i was wandering if TSP prc stage 2 5.3 heads r good heads for a blower?

     

     

     

    also was looking at the vinvi trucker cam, is that a good blower cam?

     

    im not looking to break any records, just wanting a good street/strip truck that can pull off high 11s to 12s

  4. need complete kit for 2004 chevy silverado 5.3

     

     

     

    also have like new boss 330 20in wheels, with Brand new never put mounted on wheels Goodyear Fortera Triple-Tred 285/50/20 tires for trade on the kit.. cud throw in a lil cash if someone needs..

     

     

    i can email pics to anyone who needs them of the tires/wheels. i live in joplin, MO id prefer local on the trade but id be will to drive 4-5hrs or so to meet with someone..

    07 4.8, wanting to go with a good blower cam, and all valvetrain upgrades.

     

    going with a radix mp112 blower kit used, or a tvs 1900 kit used, or 2300 kit used. looking for those by the way if anyone has them.

     

     

    going to beef up the trans, i have a 3200 stall is that too much for a blower build? wat stall speed shud i go with

     

    will headers decrease power with the blower?

     

     

    im wanting the truck to see 11's is that manageable with stock internals on the motor? im looking for 450-500 hp.

     

     

    ive been looking at the vince performance "trucker" cam is that a good blower cam?

     

     

     

    any other input is welcome! or any info on making my build better! im new to F/I im not looking to break records just want a good. street/strip truck

  6. hey guys.. well saturday night my truck got totaled.. a drunk bit*h rear ended me at a stoplight going 45mph.. needless to say im jumping up to a nbs 07 silverado 4.8. but im wanting to take the 5.3 out of my truck and build it more and put it in the 07 nbs.. will this work?

  7. okay guys so i have decided i want to bite the bullet and go faster..

     

     

     

    my current mods are: TSP224/224 .581 112LSA cam, 7.4 pushrods, retainers, ls7 lifters, dual springs, long tubes, cold air intake, true dual 2.5 in exhaust, 160* t-stat, 3200 PATC stall, transgo HD-2 Shift kit, corvette 2nd gear servo, sonnaz 4th gear billet servo, ls6 ported oil pump, NGK TR-55 Plugs and MSD wires.

     

     

    i am wanting to go STS. truck will run mid 13s now on its current set-up. my goal is low 12s high 11s. im wandering what all i wud need. i know i need injectors, fuel pump, and tranny work. wht i wud like is what people are running now.

     

     

     

    as far as my budget goes, its 4-5k.. if that budget is not possiable let me know where i will need to be. cuz i do want to do this right and not cut corners, as i know how crucial boosting is.

  8. A burnout is good to clean the tires and mildly heat them, trust me I've ran about every brand of street tire. Bringing the converter to 3000 however isn't going to help getting it to hook. Go off idle, especially when you have a traction problem. What converter did you do? What tires are you going to buy?

     

     

    It's a 3200 stall from PATC. Carbon fiber lock up clutch and stuff. And I was thinkin mickey Thompson et street radials on my 17s. 295/45/17

  9. hey guys, i decided to run the truck last friday night.. gosh was it cold and slick. first two runs a ran mid 15's at 97mph cuz i about hit the guard rail off the line. of course i was on 20's with street tires so it did not like traction haha. i plan on getting some radials for my 17 stockers.

     

    but the real question is here...

     

    my third and final pass i avoided the wet box and did not do a burnout, and stalled the truck up to 3k. and when the light turned green i just let off the brake instead of smashing the pedal threw the floor, it still spun so when it stopped i mashed it.

     

    this was my time.. do you think i could hit low to mid 13's with radials, or if i hooked?? and this is on a mail order tune from blackbear.

  10. i have a 99 chevy silverado NBS with factory fogs..

     

    i am currently doing the 03 front end swap and am getting 03 fog lights..

     

    will my current wiring harness on my truck plug and play with the bulbs for the 03 fog lights?

     

    im going HID's and the bulb type is a H10 my old bulbs were a 880..

     

    will the connectors be the same?

  12. Hmmm... I have all of that sitting in my storage unit. Already modded for a RCSB and all. All OEM, most of it still brand new in the box. Not looking to sell at the moment, but then again, everyone has their price. :)

     

     

    haha very very true. with brackets i assume? :fingersx: also is it just the cladding? or front a rear bumper cover?

  13. alright guys.. i have came to a conclusion that it will be better to buy the complete kit.. and like the title says im looking for a Reg cab clone cladding set with brackets..

     

     

    im not on the market to buy right now, but could be if the price is right.. i just spent 1200 on a 06 front end conversion on my 99..

     

    here this week and the next i have a lot of work lined up for me at my bodyshop so i will be making some good money..

     

    and iff you guys dont have a kit, i was wandering if youguys cud help look around or knw anyone with a kit willing to sell..

  14. i've got a new gm front ss cover with new gm ducts and a few of the brackets and also got the rear cover with all brackets and step pads.

    and i am located in Lafayette Indiana 47905

     

     

    will u seperate the ducts from the cover? if so pm a price on the ducts, brackets, and rear cover with all brackets and step pads

  15. I didnt think that SRT-4s were turbo?? Although I do see the upgraded wastegate mod mentioned..... IDK

     

     

    yeah they were turbod cars from factory. forgot to mention that he also had full 3in exhaust. .
