  1. you will need bigger injectors right off the stock lq9 a capable of around 450 hp but it will start needin some upgrades after that too many to list.... also be careful puttin on the turbos they are really hard on a motor with over 100,000 miles at least thats what i have been told...
  2. interested what kind are they? and is there everything i will need for the conversion
  3. newbie haha i know... Well lets see i bought a 2003 ss in july of 2010 i love it and cannot wait to get her done up a bit... How i got into the ss truck: when i was about five years old my father bought a 454 ss with some work done to it of coarse and then came my little brother... bye bye truck. since then i had always dreamt of havin one of my own.
  4. I have been seeing the same problems in my 03, I agree on the Ethanol it is terrible on the MPG's. I was driving through Arizona heading back home to Utah and saw a sign posted at a station on the indian reservation No Ethanol. I ran it and gained 4 mpg's. I don't know how they get away with it but i was quite bummed when that tank ran out and i had to go back to the winter gas. I lost those 4 plus 2 more MPG's. where i live o2 and emission checks are done very lazily and i have thought about knocking out my cats? will this effect my O2 sensor readings? And will it help get better mileage? My truck's exhaust is stock all the way through the cats then into a two in one out magnaflow (like that when i bought it) will it help knocking them out? im shootin blanks

  6. I just bought my 2003 ss silverado. I don't have too much cash but want to bolt on some parts. What air intakes, T.B.I. spacers, computer chips would you guys recommend i drive it everyday but still like to have some fun thanks for the help. If anyone has any ideas on other parts that would boost up some power with low cost that would be great thanks again.
