  1. I don't blame you. Like I said though, my diff grease was a milky metallic silver from all of the bearing shavings. Very nasty stuff! Mine had 92K on it when i bought it. Don't know how long it had been whining though.
  2. I finally fixed mine. It had the whine when i bought it. Changed to synthetic lube and it quitened slightly. Original lube was metallic silver! Nasty stuff. I had mine rebuilt and filled with Amsoil, and been fine since. My only concern would be if it finally totally bites the dust, you could damage your outer housing and have to replace the whole diff. But, from what I hear, they will run a long time before that happens. My original bearings were toast.
  3. GLWTS. Hate you are selling but I understand. These suckers are thirsty!
  4. I may would be interested, but is the bed liner available for our body style? Mine is an 03. I know the floor liners are.
  5. Very nice! Congrats! Ammo is super scarce around here.
  6. My bad, Pic has been added. Was trying to post from my phone and forgot to hit load.
  7. Hey guys. I just got my wife's new Reciever installed in her trailblazer. My first install, but went very smooth. I wanted to share a pic. We just ordered the xm box to replace the satellite radio you see too. Wanted to get rid of the wires. Now I just gotta get my new unit installed in the SSS. This project was my guinnea pig, so to say. Lol
  8. Hey guys, as you have heard me mention, I have a new DVD received and I plan to add satellite radio. I need some ideas on a clean and non obvious place to put the antenna. I have been told to put it on the dash, but the instruction clearly state not to do that. Any experience with that? Where is yours? Any feedback or ideas appreciated.
  9. got the trailblazer dvd reciever installed took my time and it went well. now time to get the one is my sss installed!

I'll post one tonight. Took one with my phone.

  10. I have several different brands and calibers. My favorite is my Sig sauer p229 in 40 caliber. Next is my H&K usp45, in 45 caliber. 1911 style are a great choice as well. Depends on him much you want to spend and what fits your hand. Ruger makes a decent semi-auto that is very reasonably priced. You can pick up a P95 in 9mm for a very reasonable price. Also you need to decide if you want a concealable size or a more comfortable and accurate gun. Springfield has a new XDs in 45 auto that is small and very cool. Of course Glock makes many good pistols, I am just not personally a Glock guy. If I were you, I'd decide my budget, hold a few, then make your choice. Last thing I would suggest is sticking with a known reputable brand. Peace of mind when using for protection and helps on resale as well. Buying guns becomes an addiction. Once u start buying them, it can get hard to stop. Good luck with your choice and let us know what you get.
  11. That looks impressive. Never seen one. What caliber is it?
  12. What wheels are these??? They are BA!!
  13. I have looked at a lot of wheels, and i always go back to the reps. I want chrome 20's this spring. I love the TBSS's also, but they only come in 22.
  14. Yeah, i noticed shipping has shot way up. I shipped a pair of boots a couple weeks ago that I sold on Ebay, and USPS charged me 23 bucks to ship! Regular ground shipping. It cut in to my profit so deep, I ended my auction of my other boots for sale. Heck, if they sold, i would have lost money! Are you getting Steve to do your cluster? If so, he does a great job and it will be well worth the short time of aggravation to get your cluster back.
  15. Nice collection. My two faves are a Sig Sauer P229, and an H&K USP45 that I am fond of. I am eyeing one of those Springfield Armory XDs for concealed carry that someone mentioned above. I would also like a 1911 at some point. SA or Kimber either one. My wife is getting her cary permit finally, so you know what that means! I get the green light to buy her a gun, so I plan to get something I want! LOL
  16. Finally ordered the 2-Din for my SSS and one for my wife's TB. Now I just gotta install them. Got the AVH-P8400BH for mine and the AVH-P3400BH for her.

Yeah, I am very excited to finally get them. Mine wont have navi, but I have a Garmin or could use my app mode off my phone. I half dread the install, but hopefully it will go smooth, for both!

  17. The GMOS-100 is the one that Crutchfield had speced for my install, but i am a little leary of the bad reviews it has gotten? Does the GMOS-04 retain steering wheel controls?
  18. Hey guys, I am finally pulling the trigger and ordering my Pioneer AVH-8400BH reciever for my SSS. I was wondering what harness you guys suggest or have used sucessfully to install it? I have seen Metra and Axxexx brands offered. I want to retain my steering wheel controls. Any input is appreciated.
  19. Probably the front diff. Mine did it too. Very common with the awd models.
