I put 3 new alternators on it today

I have ohmd everything and its all getting the right amount not showing any problems ... the only thing I have changed on this build besides last is bigger cu in. And a fan harness from ls1fans.com so I don't know why I'm having this problem

OK well I got everything scraped off and the alternator is charging now buttttt when the alternator is plugged up the truck will only run for about 40 sec and goes into limp mode and shutts completely off ... kills the fuel system and everything...... but I can unhook the alternator and reset the computer and it'll run all day until the battery dies but as soon as I hook the alternator up goes into limp mode! I just don't understand it....... I even put a brand new 105 amp alternator on it to try that and it still does it

If there is anyoneeee that could msg me or call me BC I'm having a weird problem bow where when the alternator is hooked up till rum for abt a min then shut off and go in limp mode and when the alternator is unplugged it'll run fine

Would this keep putting it in reduced engine power mode too?

Yeah the while engine bracket is oowdercoated

Already had it tested and it want working and he fixed it and said it works now.... my alternator bracket is powder coated black and the alternator is powder coated..... could that have anything to do with it? Someone said the powder coating on the bracket where the alternator sits could cause it

Solo I need to take the powder coating off my bracket too? BC its powder coated black

Yeah man bought it brand new had it taken apart for powder coating then put back together stuck it on and nothing... took it to a shop paid them $60 to scrap some coating off the inside for grounding purposes he said that was the problem.. brought it home today stuck it on andddddd nothing again

Took my stock ss alternator off and replaced it with the bigger 145 amp stock alternator and now the shit aint charging or anything ? Is there anything else you have to switch with it or what?!

I replaced the factor ss alternator out on my 03 ss for the bigger factory 145 amp alternator same plugs and all and now its not charging my battery and the guage dont work? Is there something else that i have to do or whats going on? Starting to get pissed off with this thing

Its a 2 piece billet converter made by cameron converters... custom built from a logal guy that specializes in high hp trans and converters builds them in house .. does jam up work

3600 but gotta take it out making too much power for it and its just pushing threw the converter ...after second gear it looses all power lol sounds like its doing 200mph but only doing about 40

Its a .40 over ls2 cncd afrs torquer v3 cam titanium valves and hardware h beam rods with flat top pistons long tube headers x pipe single chamber flow masters 42# injectors victor jr intake and a lot more stuff lil i could type for an hr lol and thanks yall ill get some more vids this week
