  1. I thought I'd share my first event on the Tail of the Dragon. I would hope that some of you guys can make it out next year. This will be an annual event for us! Woke up at 3am on Friday - met up with a couple for breakfast. Then we headed to Robbinsville. Checked in the house, got groceries and let the fun begin!!! Jell-O Shots made with Pucker instead of Vodka. Dangerous considering they are sweeter shots - no aftertaste of liquor! Green Monster (Everclear, Mountain Dew, & Pineapple Juice) this is my favorite Getting the steaks ready for the grill Headed to the Tail First line up Monkey Butt? HAHA First time i've seen this - my friends tell me it works wonders. Scenic View Tree of Shame Another line up Leaving the Skyway My only tattoo. My beloved Bailey's paw print shrunk down. AND...in case you guys didn't see my post on my older thread....(my calendar one) That's right! Cover baby!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA I'm pretty proud of it. Anyway Killboy.com and US129photos.com got good pics of our rides on the actual tail. See if you can view the album of our pics only. If it asks...password is: alaska
  2. I miss the "calm" feeling when it was snowing and I could hear the crunching of the snow under my tires. What I don't miss is six months of that crap. LOL
  3. When I moved to Alaska from Georgia I would investigate accidents where people lost control from A STOP! I couldn't figure it out so the first ice storm we had, I would drive "normal" and yea my rear end went swinging....So I spent two hours in the parking lot at work learning how to handle my ride (it was a tb ltz at the time) and while I still slid on the ice a time or two, it was never as bad as the idiots in the video. Be safe up there Matt and everyone else who is in the North East....
  4. Lots of folks are scared of it. I have a friend of mine that has an SLK and I'm going to teach him how to do it when it gets warmer...It's not hard and damn your truck will look AMAZING when you are done!
  5. MMMM ME too!!!! I'm 80% stocked! HAHAHA Folks may make fun of my habit of online forums but I have more "family" on these things and this just proves that point.
  6. The undercarriage spray smells like Grape Kool-Aid! O M G hahahaha
  7. Dylan is amazing when it comes to PSP. I wish I had the patience to teach myself. Until then, I will do what the OP does...ask for help!
  8. I am also a member of Adam's Forums and like on here, I have made a few friends there too. Well this weekend on my Tail of the Dragon trip I happened to pass by one of the members hometown. We met up, had dinner and I had a gift bag! I got two polishing towels, two foam applicators, tire applicator, Undercarriage Spray, Waterless Wash, Brilliant Glaze, In and out, 2 things of APC, Detail Spray & some stickers!! I was totally floored by the generosity of this member. First thing I did when I got home from a long azz weekend? Smelled the new stuff! HAHAHAHA
  9. Hey, what are the results to this? Did anything specifically work? if so, I have a lot of friends who want to know! Thanks!
  10. I'm glad to hear that you are ok for the most part! I'm sorry about your quad. Was it insured? if so, that would be helpful!!!
  11. I can't wait to get the WW...the undercarriage spray...this and that and this and that...and yea my bank account is dry right now. I am glad to see you like the WW...that seriously is my next purchase.
  12. Where in VA are you at??? We have an adams detail meet every other month or two. I usually see BMW's, TBSS, & Mercedes....If you are close to hampton roads, let me know and next time we do it, I'll let you know so you can see the other stuff in action.
  13. Very nice pictures guys!!!! Matt...you could take some pics of your SSS in front of those frozen waterfalls off the Seward Highway....like I did with my TBSS. And she made cover of the 2011 GM SUV Calendar. You could also drive near Matanuska Glacier to have that in the backdrop.... You could go downtown and get a picture of the truck with Sleeping Lady in the background. Those would be cool. Oh, Girdwood has a few side streets with trees that when covered with snow, look like a really pretty christmas tree city!!
  14. This is the reason I have only used Adam's products on my truck. I have the cheapo MF's but I only use those for the same thing Dylan suggested...door jams, under the hood and cleaning the exhaust tip.
  15. I'm planning a trip to this area next fall. No special event but we are going to stay a week and enjoy the sites, mountains, etc. Drive the tail of the dragon, etc... You will have fun!
  16. ok, so someone else responded with this list: Well, this sounds logical: > Remove all garbage and food from your car. Ants are attracted to food, so clean out your car in case any sweet substances have spilled in it and attracted the invaders. > Coat your tires with ant spray. The ants are getting into the car at the most likely point of contact: your tires. Spray your tires with ant spray to cut off their point of entry. > Take your ant bait and place it under the seats of your car. If you have ants, this is a thorough way to be rid of them. Not only will you kill the invading ants, but you will also kill off the colony. > Sprinkle black pepper on your floors. This is an easy, organic way to keep ants at bay. It will serve the same purpose as a barrier type of insect spray. > Sprinkle boric acid on your floors. Be extremely cautious if you take this step. Boric acid is not safe around pets or children, and can also be dangerous if you come in contact with it and ingest it. Boric acid should only be used as a last-ditch effort. Good luck on this!!!
  17. I have used CompuStar & Viper. Both work just as well. I haven't had issues with either one. Both are compatible with Smart Phones.... What I'd recommend is check CompuStar to see if you have a place that is on their repair list. When I got my auto start in AK six months later I moved to Virginia. The thing quit working and I had to drive six hours to the closest authorized facility to have it handled under the warranty.

Backed up the [email protected] with a [email protected]. These 2 passes were made after I was looking at the sky on the stupid wheels up. It's going to take a few add ons and adjustments to get there but I'm confident it will... we learn something new every time at the track, make the adjustments and get faster... I'll upload the GoPro footage and post it here in a bit... it's really good footage of the wheelie!! __________________ There's a lot more and if you guys can't read this I'll post more. If you can see it, I'd read all the pages because it goes back and forth about what he did, etc. :)
  20. That is one amazing video. When he posted that video on our site we were all like WHOA WTF.... I would NOT have believed it had I not seen it. --- His TBSS is one HELL of a beast. I hope he shows up to NATIONALS!!!
  21. Florida doesn't necessarily mean anything inside will die. I bought a used vehicle once that was infested with roaches. I took what I could out of the vehicle and bombed it for a whole weekend - so about four bombs. I just vacuumed & went about my way. However that was when I was young and dumb. I posted this on the Adam's forums asking what could be used to clean the residue from a bomb, if used. One guy said to call an exterminator, advise what's up and see what they say. Personally anything inside a vehicle whether it's ants, roaches, spiders, etc..are all yukky. Good luck in getting these lil suckers out!
  22. LOL then we bring the party inside.... I've only been to one event and I haven't ever heard of it raining. I think we're on year four or five now? Anyway there is a lot of stuff going on and while I am sure it could happen, I am not sure what they would do it if it rained on track day? I don't put my ride on the track anyway I just go to visit and meet folks. The parties in the parking lot are more fun anyway. :)
