  1. Touche'. I bought my CompuStar in October 2008. So just about 2 years ago.
  2. My auto start from perfectionist broke not even six months later but by then I had already moved to Virginia so now I have to pay to fix it. Closest dealer was in mid-north carolina. No one in ak would even install a viper only computer-star. Bleh lol. Wish I knew u before I moved lol. Sent from my HERO200 using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks Josh!! Tapatalk is much better than doing it via the web pages on the cell phone!
  4. My thoughts and prayers are with the guys. I hope all turns out ok.
  5. This is the vid I couldn't see last night b/c youtube went down! Darn good kill!
  6. Welcome to the group and good luck in your research.
  7. Welcome to the group!!! I have a TBSS and I have absolutely been welcomed with open arms! Nice truck! What detail products do you use? I am a huge fan of Adam's.
  8. Looks very clean. I bet it would look sweet if they were tinted!
  9. I am going to get some of the BS soon. I won a $50.00 certificate recently so I am debating on what to get since I have almost everything. Your truck looks awesome. :)
  10. Amazing job....I am always amazed at how well the stuff works. I also use the leather cleaner/conditioner on my shoes....amazing restoration!
  11. Clean ride....but I agree that one is better than a Ford!
  12. Thanks everyone! I agree my wheels need TLC.....after 11 hours I was exhausted and work is kicking my butt. Apparently people don't know how to drive during the Holiday weekend which is a job security for me but yet totally killer! I hope to be able to finish my stuff 2 weeks from now when I am helping a friend of mine with his detail down in NC. The americana is AMAZING. I had apparently driven through muddy water before the pictures I took and I only need a MF towel to wipe her down and she was like new. No DS needed! I am always drooling over clean rides!
  13. Thanks Brian! Definitely can't switch soon enough IMHO.
  14. Thanks guys! I am very impressed with Adam's products thus far!
  15. Pictures of our VA crew meeting for a detail session. We only did 2 trucks. The other two just came to help out and loan their PC & Foam gun! Tony (Black 06 TBSS) and I started at 9am and we went running! We did the following: Vacuum both trucks....even under the seats Leather cleaner Leather conditioner Upholstery cleaner - our suede feels BRAND NEW -- I took VRT Sponge and I sprayed one squirt of the Upholstery Cleaner....tabbed it on my arm to take off any "big drops" and then I lightly skimmed over the suede inserts in all four directions (up, down, left, & right). No major rubbing needed and it feels brand new!!!!!! -- Dawn wash both vehicles - both had several layers of build up and we wanted to start fresh! Adams Shampoo with a FOAM GUN Dry with a leaf blower Swirl & Haze remover w/PC Revive Polish - Tony only Americana Wax Glass cleaner for all glass inside and out VRT for all the trim APC on the wheels and wheel wells --------- The PC and foam gun was donated by Rob - THANK YOU OH SO VERY MUCH!!! The mini rolling chair was donated by PW - OH MY GOD IT WAS A LIFE SAVER! -- The heat was really unbearable...so much that I was so close to asking Tony to take me to the ER. I went inside for an hour and a half with 2 fans on me and a cold wash cloth. I literally stopped mid PC of the left fender and my eyes were rolling in the back of my head....yea it was bad. Have no idea how in the hell Tony kept going!!! Anyway we got done around 8pm or so and went and took some pictures of our rides together! After we got done with pictures we came back and finished up the trim and then ate dinner. A fabulous dinner.....fried ribs, grilled ribs, crabs, catfish (i think), baked beans, green beans, cole slaw, potato salad, pulled pork butt, corn on the cob...and I am sure I am missing others. Anyway it was a great day. Thank you Tony, Rob, & Preston for your hard work!!! Preston even detailed my engine! WOOT!!!!!!! My baby is precious and Tony's is amazingly better. Before My Pespi that is always needed in the morning! Rob with the Foam Gun - Adams Shampoo Tony washing my truck - I promise "cross my heart" that I didn't let him do all the hard work. After for me.... My truck getting taped Here is where I stopped for almost an hour and a half due to heat exhaustion.... Here are the pictures for Tony's Truck. Tony's garage....Our Adam Products combined. Tony spraying on Adam's DS to moisten up the bugs. Apparently...someone borrowed my camera to take a pic of the food in the smoker.... YUM I hope you enjoyed these pictures even though they aren't your typical SSS! ;)
  16. I was rather disappointed. Bleh oh well. Next time!
