Just an FYI, depending on your years and mileage, the cats are covered under warranty for 8 years or 80000 miles. It's actually a federal law and gm does cover it. Just had mine replaced. I blew the cat apart.

Thanks. Since I got.the truck, I never Cks it.out.or.changed the fluid. Then again, the dealer was supposed to.and who knows. Guess that goes on the list for.its trip to the lift next week.

A thousand ain't gonna get you far. 2 thousand would wake you up. Exaust ,Cai, and a tune. About 1500 should cover it.

I've been having that same issue in a 2wd. After a few jumps.on.the gas, it locks up as if the rear end was weld togehter at the axles. Kind of know.that feeling from.the days of midnight running. I've had this problem for three years. Been to the dealership, they changed fluid and swear to me that it doesn't need a posi additive. It does release, but.it.is annoying sometimes. Should.I throw in some.posi additive. Like.I said, its been this way since I got.my truck with 40000 miles. I've out 35000 on since then and its still together.

I'm.running a superchips.programmer and have found that after mods, its a very basic tune. Definately look at a custom tune. I'm researching now and just waiting for.a.few responses. As far as an exaust, I did a lot.of research there and the corsa sport cat back is the way I went. All stainless, a little pricey, but very happy. Street side auto was the best number I saw . And on doorstep 2 days later. Easy.install. great sound. And not much louder in cab, and of course, no drone.

Hey guys, I remember in the past someone spoke about using tahoe fronts and silverado rears. Is there anything to.that? I'm.probably looking at the edelbrocks, bit wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions on that subject. Truck is going on lift next week, replacing some.bushings and steering componants. So why not replace original shocks too.lol.

There is a cheaper and equivelant solution of you have to go.that route. Mevotech is an offbrand, but equal to.moog. I know.parts authority or.pro.parts here in new York has them. The.two.piece steering arm was like 125 for.both and i just picked up stab bushings and end links for.like 50 bucks. If you have to.go.that route, check them.out. I.think rockauto.com OS their site. Also, when.I.looked at tires, I.looked at the hankook ventus st rh06 and also.the general uhp. The hankooks are awesome and you can mail.order relatively cheap. I.think like 115 a tire was what I paid.

One thing I.did find out is that I'm having the same problem in the steering and its a two piece pitman / idler setup. Just bought.the parts and will be in garage this week to do. Found a lot of play when doing the brakes and it is a common Chevy fix with steering. Even on those big suburbans, my friend changes his once a year, bit he's a little ocd. As far as a good all season and performance tire, hankook ventus st rh06. Had those stock.goodyears and they sucked. Have had the hankooks for.a year and they are great.

AAnd what section should.this.be in? I'm new here and the.information is.invaluable.

How bout.a.recomendation on a set.of.headers that will bolt up.to.stock exaust piping?

Thanks guys for.the insight. I recently just did a banks RAM air and a corsa exaust. Also a superchips.programmer . Was looking for.a little extra power and headers are not far off. If go.the route of a cam kit, whats my best option and would I have to do a real tune to make it all work?

Can anyone tell me the rocker size on the 6.0 max engine and if it.is possible to.upgrade those to something larger?
