I have used 5-30 royal purple My mechaninc said I should change it to 10-40 cuz its better that 5-30 is more of a break in to 10-40 Any thoughts? What weight do you use? And how many miles does your truck have? I'm at 95k and I'm thinking of switching from 5w-30 to 10w-40

ok so this is the set up i got!! and the back of the seats hit my amps these metals are hitting the amps and preventing the seats from folding down these are just the pics of the amps getting scratch because of the metals thanks for the help guys!

the seats mount good but when i try to fold them down the little metal in the bottom of the seats hit the amps and dont let them open the seat down...... ill take a picture later to show you guys.... i might have to go to a shop to get a custom box with seats on it...

They are really low already And my amp is a little thick it's a 5000w earthquake

Hey guys so I finally got my system installed and I hooked up the amps behind the seats When It came time to put the seats back on they wouldno longer fit How did you guys do it? Did u have to cut something out or something?

i have been ordering my system for about 2 months and i almost got it together i have the 6.5 pioneer 3 way 4x6 poineer 3way and some think pioneer tweeters i have the box for 2 12s that goes in the back seats and i just ordered the 0 gauge dual amp kit with a 20 frada khole audio capacitor and a soundstream equalizer next week im getting 2 12s kicker cvx's and for amps i have a 1000w performance technique amp for highs, and a 5000w earthquake amp for the base this is the longest i have gone without speakers in a car and my mexican side is telling me to get an epicenter lol
