  1. Not raced. I don't know what I would ask for sure, need to research. I'm not going to do anything until I get it out in the spring anyway. I'm like everybody else who thinks they should sell their SS but hates to turn loose of it lol

  2. Interesting about the jack stand comments. I air my tires up to max and park on rubber mats. I've stored mine for 6 months out of the year for 6 years going and never had a problem with tire flat spots, even with the cheap OEM Goodyear tires. I have read that letting the suspension hang is bad, which is why I never did the jack stands but cannot validate that.

  3. I've never used a gas grill in my life.

    Boneless chicken breast

Get some commercial garlic & herb marinade or make your own with Italian dressing and McCormick's Montreal chicken seasoning. Pierce the meat all over with a fork. Place in ziplock bag with the marinade for about 24 hours. Grill over your charcoal, no wood chips or bbq sauce required.

Hickory chips do pork really well, mesquite for most chicken. I also like just a tiny amount of mesquite smoke with a good strip steak. In every case, I soak wood chips at least 24 hours.

  4. idk, I may be old school, but if you dont have the SS code in your vin, its not an SS so dont sport the badge. That being said, it is a nice clean truck.

Completely agree. Besides, you only fool those who don't know or care. Your peers laugh at you.

  5. you sure your not in NJ? I herd of a truck where the owner works at a body shop in lakewood that has 10K on his 03 SSS

Naw, never been to NJ. I'm sure there are still a few of us around that don't use them much. I've been thinking of selling mine the last couple of years but everytime I drive it I change my mind.

  6. Tirerack phone guy just told me forget it - can't put that 295-45-20 on my stock 8.5" wide wheel. WTF?!?!? He tried talking me into OEM size General Grabber UHP that are $100 less/unit

    Want to order this week....

I have the G-Force 285-55-20 size on stock rims, stock height. Don't they have that size anymore? They are perfect even at full lock.
