  1. I am pretty sure the first one is you and I on our first pass of the day. I can tell because of my horrible reaction time ( :sigh: my first time down the track) and because I remember you spinning when you took off. Good videos, and yes the sound is good.

I cracked my windows on the next few runs I made to try and hear the tires. It was tough between the helmet and the exhaust to hear anything. The guy at the line stopped me and made me roll them back up though... I can hear it on the video though, haha.

i think i still have the winning launch on my 1st run...lol

Yeah, I was setup behind you and you were throwing track parts and pieces at me, with smoke rolling off the tires... hahahaha, I was laughing since you told me you have like 2,000 lbs of tools in the back of the truck as you are drag racing hhaha.

  2. Here are some video’s guys, I couldn’t keep track who I raced each time, too many black trucks! The first one is me on the right with the B&B exhaust.

Unless my volume is muted, I am not getting sounds on this computer. Let me know if you can hear it.....

  3. It was great seeing everyone again. The weather was awesome despite what the weathermen were saying the day before. Hey Lucas Luann is going to transfer the videos to DVD sometime this week and we will send you a copy. Hopefully next year I won't spend so much time farting around with HP Tuners at the track. Maybe next year your truck will be faster than mine - go for that cam swap.

Sounds good, thanks again. Definately good times, like everyone said it was a ghost town we pretty much had the place to ourselves..... that and all the ricers doing front axle swaps in the pits.....

Time will tell, if money appears and I get frisky, I might have a surprise for next year :smash:

  4. you also dont have the front drive or the intake. I can drive within 3 hours and pick up 5 different LQ9s with under 10K on them for 1500-1800.... 2 of them for 1800 and 1750 have a harness and PCM. Just giving you an idea of what an acceptable offer would be.

    Who assembled the short block?

A GM dealer assembled the motor as well as my self so far. My father is a service manager at a Chevy dealership for 25 years now and grew up in detroit as a mechanic, so I had constant oversight from one of the best I can imagine....

  5. used long blocks with low mileage (under10K) sell for 1500-1800 on avg. with all the accessories and intake. new long blocks you can find for 2650-2800. I would say its worth 1750ish IMO. thats with about 10 minutes surfing the web.

I tried looking up a reasonable number, I don't want to get screwed but dont want to screw anyone. I am going to be kicking myself for getting rid of this I am sure down the road, but can't justify money sitting in the corner.....

Considering it is re-machined new bearings and gaskets and better than 10,000 miles it is worth more IMO.

I am up for reasonable numbers. :flag:

  6. Damn Bro ... We are on the same schedule almost ... My Anniversary was the 20th, and her BDay is the 27th ... But I do have a few years on you ... ... LOL

... I did take her on a Balloon Ride up in Essex VT as a surprise ... It was wild. I'd do it again in a heartbeat ... Maybe meet you out in NY for a ride with your company.

I actually crew for a couple that is based out of Penn. they own two baloons and we set them up each year for the Adirondack balloon festival (last weekend) and chase them.

It is a good excuse to get loaded in the back of the bus while we are chasing them, it's a good time for sure. Every now and then we get to go up, definatley a very unique flight.

  7. Haha yeah it is but it was at a car show. Def not mine. I know exactly what you mean. I was at that show. They were all over the place up there. Nationals is def a killer show! I got a decent cell pic of my SS and a ZR-1 at Stewart's after the cruise. Just happened to pull in and park next to it cause it was the only spot left lol. I will let you know about the motor. Not to go even farther off topic but are you going to the LVD thing in a few weeks. I know there are a few members from the area. I was seeing who wanted to ride up together.

Yeah, I am planning on going to the LVD meet for sure. I am loading my buddy's hyabusa and driving up with him, but I am sure I could find room for the engine and all the parts if you want me to bring it down to you

  8. I forgot to ask, is that a ZR1 in your sig? I saw about 10 of them in a row a few weeks back at the Lake George Car show.....

I had to pick my jaw off the ground after seeing a million bucks drive by me!

I'll trade you the motor for that car straight up if you want! haha.

  9. What are you looking to get for it and where are you located? I may be interested if the price is right.

Edit: You are only about 30-45 minutes from me. Let me know on price.

I know a short block is worth $2,000 and a long block is more like $3,000.

I would like to get $2,250 for it considering it isn't assembled. I figured for some people this would be helpful because they would probobly take it apart anyways to look at the internals.

Let me know if you want to come look at it or make an offer.

    Thanks.
