  1. brobradh77,

Just for one more person with a procharger, I also came to the same conclusion in your first post as far as what the companies advertise. For me, getting out of college and purchasing the truck, I opted for the Procharger for a few reasons.

    Price

    Air/Air Intercooler

    No oil lines to run

There are some disadvantages I ran into though. At the time they didn't come with injectors (which I bought for $450) just an FMU, and I had to get a custom tune once my cat's clogged and blew my motor from a Diablo Predator Tune. The dyno tune was an additional $250. All said and done the charger to set it up was less than $4,750 after tax, shipping, etc. installing it myself.

I had to change a pulley ($100) to get advertised boost, and after that ran a 13.7 second quarter with cat back an e-fans on the truck.

I have had the charger on the truck for roughly 25,000 miles and changed oil every 6,000 in the charger and the truck is strong.

The track here at Lebenon should open mid April and I am hopeful to get a new time in my truck after a new transmission and miscellaneous other things. If you want a updated time from the older 13.7.

As far as comparing to a radix, I would have been completely happy with a radix and at the time it came down to saving about $1,000.

  2. That is freaking awesome! Can't replace carnage like that.

I have a nice wall of shame collection from my fathers blown boat motors, snowmobile motors, etc.

My favorite one is with a 2.25" valve stuck into the top of a piston upside down.....

    That is a sight

  3. That looks awesome chase.  nice job by the shop out there.   I have to say it though, That going to be a PITFA to take the tranny out of.  Maybe think about jet hot coating the system.  that will make it last forever

I thought about that too, but it looks like there is also another joint just in front of the cutouts so I think it should come apart to get the tranny out pretty easy.

That is definately something to think abouyt when doing this. I would hate to have a custom exhaust done each time you need tranny work. :nono:

    Looks great Chase!

  4. lol, i want to try it first and see where im at. how much did you guys pay for the pullies??

About 8000 miles on mine so far, no problems.

I called RR to make me a custom 3.2, he said would be about $125-150.

I have a 3.6 RR right now and hit 9 on a really cold day if I am lucky. What are you running for boost with a 3.2"?

No dust around the pulley? What about belt size you are using with that 3.2"

if you rmaking 9 psi on a 3.6 you dont have a radix im guessing .

Yeah Chase, it isn't a radix, its a procharge like SCIV.

I am still running a 3.4 for now. I just upgraded to 60lb injectors, so the 3.2 will go on soon.

I see about 11-12 psi with the 3.4 now. I do get some dusting, but it isn't bad at all. I run a 110.5 Gatorback.

I am curious since I didn't want to get another pulley for 150 to just find out since I have already been through three pulleys without much change. A 3.4-3.5 would be ideal for me to get the 10-11psi I would like. I am hardly in boost that much anyways I figure it couldn't hurt. Just reducing my longevity but nothing holds up forever right????

  6. Description: Yes, this is the fastest street legal Supra. Its owned by Marco D around Chicago. Its actually driven on the streets. Looking forward to seeing it next summer. Titan can go eat his heart out!

Titan????? Who the hell writes these descriptions?

  7. Nice work,

Sounds like you had a good time. You got to love the cool crisp night, when you are driving around staulking other people to race........

Not to get side tracked but speaking of LVD when does it close this year?

    Good kills though.
