ah so back to the search!! i am getting my stock heads ported, polish, new valves, double springs, seals, etc and trying to get a low miles lq9. how many lbs of boost i could give to it?

i found a short block with very low miles to replace my blown motor; they told me it was an lq9 short block that came off a 2500 series. i know the top end on this 2500 is different to the top end on the SS. are the short block internals the same? can i used my heads and intake on this block?

I just installed a bunch stuff on my truck and when it was on the Dyno getting tuned; the motor blew! I am looking to buy a recently rebuilt lq9 short block ?

i do not think any one will buy the stock cam but, if you find that PERSON; please, tell him that i am selling a stock fuel pump, injectors and Mass air sensor!

well after looking around and knocking my head agains the tree a couple of times i came to the conclussion of buying a whipple and putting it on the truck!! while in the process i asked around and added a couple of ingridients to it!!!!!!

i got the wide band sensor with the Air/Fuel gauge to get this tune and the boost gauge. i am almost done just trying to figure where to put the fuel pressure gauge and then to the tunner. i need to tow the truck to the tunner as it is running super rich! we pulled the spark plugs out and the are soaked on gas!! this has to be because the bigger injectors and pump correct?? anyway i am really exited can't wait to take it to be tune!!!
i will post some pictures once everything is done. my friend make me a custom fiber glass piece on the center console where i have my boost gauge, air/fuel and my air pressure for my air ride. looks freaking nice.
by the way,, Jeff at Whipple superchargers has been super helpful answering all my questions and helping me get what i needed!!

Hey I am almost done installing mine. It is a 2.3 and the stock pulley should give you about 6lbs. Add injectors and a bigger pump! I spiced mine up a bit and added a linage feller cam and meth injection to the equation. MeTh should help to cool off some of the heat that is being push to the motor.

hello all
i am in the middle of getting a couple of things on my truck. i already got a mild cam in and almost done with the install of a whipple!!! i also have E-fan by Flex-a-lite and full exhaust. once everything is done i will install a 160 thermostat but i want to know if i could do anything alse to keep my truck running at the normal temperature. this charger does not have the option for an intercooler!
anyone??

ah i also want to know if an after marker intake and throttle body would do well; this is my daily driver

i am installing a whipple on my 03 SS around the holidays but i wanted to spice up the equation and decided to add a cam and ported heads to it. Zippy recomended me to go with the lingenfelter GT2-3 cam with single springs but i also want to send my stock heads to be ported. will there be any problem or will i just be fine?
any help is apreciated.

i am intalling one of this super truck Gibson exhaust but this only has a 3" single inlet and the one on my truck has a dual inlet. does it affect the performance of the truck if i put a Y pipe and convert it to a single inlet??
